"EDUStream" has launched a new social project called "Towards a Society Without Violence".
The first stage of the project involved a drawing competition "Children Against Violence" among children aged 14 to 18. The goal of the creative competition is to develop an active civic stance and intolerance towards violence in any form within the younger generation. Over 400 children from across Kazakhstan participated in the competition.
Among all the categories of the competition, the majority of children responded to the category "Violence in the Family".
While young talents will be receiving their valuable prizes, active public figures will visit Austria.
The meeting will be attended by high-level representatives of the OSCE, the members of Austrian Parliament, the Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF), the Caritas organisation, and other competent authorities as well as the members of embassies and experts in the field of violence prevention.
The main objective is to study the experience of European countries.
