We are ready for the new school year and can’t wait to welcome you all (back) next week!
After a full week of hard work getting the indoor and outdoor environment ready, sitting for team meetings to discuss and plan ahead and scrubbing, polishing, sorting and organising every last corner of our Children’s House, we celebrated our team by having a wonderful party in our garden! Dance sessions included 🤩
The spirit of The Children’s House shone through every moment of the week - together we can get work done, have fun, do hard things, talk openly, dance and laugh and enjoy life, and above all support and respect each other.
This is the environment we are delighted to welcome our current families into and also look forward to seeing many of our graduates for visits throughout the year.
Here’s to another year of learning, laughing and living the spirit within our Children’s House community 🌟

We are delighted to announce that The Children’s House is hosting Amy Williams from the in November!
Our team is lucky enough to be able to benefit from her in-house observations and feedback sessions for a whole week but we don’t want to keep Amy and her expertise all to ourselves, so we are also offering some open lectures and workshops. One lecture is directed at parents and the other lecture and full day workshop is directed at educators.
If you are interested in receiving more information and details on the pricing and registration please email us at [email protected] - spaces are limited, so get in touch soon if you want to know more!
We are looking forward to learning and growing as a team in order to best serve all the children in our environment!

We want to say thank you. Thank you for another incredibly beautiful year at our Children’s House.
Working with the children in all the classic Montessori areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Maths and Cultural Studies. Constantly supporting their creative development, nurturing their love of reading and establishing a deep connection between the child and nature through activities in our Working garden. Allowing them to learn how to use real tools in our Carpentry lessons. And finally, celebrating life and culture every day of the year but especially on the days where we get together to learn about special festivities, culminating in our Summer Play at the end of the year.
We want to thank our incredible team, they give their all each and every day to meet the children exactly where they’re at and work in such a respectful, caring and dedicated way - we couldn’t imagine a better team.
We want to thank all the families for the amazing connections created and the milestones we’ve achieved together.
And more than anything we want to thank the children for letting us be a part of their journey and seeing every day what a promising future lies ahead. With their little hands, with their little feet. Everything is possible.

The activities of Practical Life are a hallmark of Montessori education.
They provide the children with opportunities to engage in purposeful activity that lead towards a refinement of their motor skills, increased concentration as well as independence.
Gaining these skills contributes to an inner self-confidence that is so vital for the human being of any age.

Eid-Al-Fitr Mubarak!
Last week we celebrated the end of Ramadan by reading stories with the children, sharing personal traditions, tasting home-made foods, listening to the Call to Prayer and opening our hearts and minds to new experiences!
Once again, we are grateful to our parents and our teachers for contributing to this wonderful celebration and allowing us all to grow as a community by learning about meaningful rituals celebrated around the world.

It’s been a few weeks but on this sunny, blossom-filled, bird-singing morning, we want to share our wonderful Easter and Spring celebration with you all!
The children performed some poems, songs or dances for each other to welcome spring and share the joy of a new season just begun.
Later they all went on an Easter egg hunt and carried their treasures home in colourful baskets they had made with the teachers.
We feel truly grateful to be able to share such joyous occasions with all the children and wish you all a wonderful Spring season!
