MPORTANT!
Dear future students,
don´t apply for dormitory if you are not sure! You block the possibility for other students who desperately need that room! And also if you refuse the offer let the office ([email protected]) know so they can immediately give your spot to someone else!

The system works this way: A student applies for a room in Haus 2- he/she gets the 1. an email with the payment information. The dormitory has to wait 14 days and if the 1. payment is not made or the offer is not refused they are allowed to contact the students on the waiting list!

Please, help your future classmates and if you are not interested in their offer to contact them immediately! A lot of students are desperately waiting for that room to apply for a visa!

Wohnungsmarkt - Campus Wels - FH OOE

Dear future students, this is the official FB page of student housing assistant for campus WELS. This page is only for international students and/or Erasmus students (special cases). This page should help you with searching for accommodation, for better communication with the student assistant and also communication between you. There will be also some flats posted.

Please, be aware that my work as the housing assistant is only a student job! I am very happy to help you in case of any relevant question however I am not able to search a flat for all of you!

1. It is always better when you contact a landlord on your own. If they do not answer, try to contact them per phone (WhatsApp etc.).
2. In the first e-mail, there is some useful information! Please make sure that you’ve read the e-mail carefully and that you’ve checked the links and FAQ before you ask further questions!!!!

3. The price of flats is high, I know that, but that is the current situation in Wels! If you want something cheaper, search in Linz or in some place close to Wels. Make always sure that you can reach the university! (oebb.at)

4. Flats in Linz are cheaper, BUT the living costs are higher! It also takes longer to confirm your visa documents!

5. The more e-mails you send to me the later I am going to reply to you! (I always replay the oldest e-mails first.)

6. Please, keep calm there are enough flats for you! I was in a similar situation a few years ago so I know the stress.!.
