ProjectKitchen ProjectKitchen is an open lab which provides students of the UAS Technikum Wien the resources for planning and implementing self-managed projects!

The UAS Technikum Wien ProjectKitchen is an open lab which will provide students of the UAS Technikum Wien the resources for planning and implementing self-managed projects and workshops in various fields of technology, with a focus on (but not limited to) electronics, microcontrollers, rapid prototyping and practical application of computer science in gerneral. The UAS Technikum Wien and the Student Union (HTW) provide a lab room, tools, materials and assistance. Beginners find suitable entry points - for example to learn soldering, to experiment with simple microcontrollers and to gain practical programming experience. Furthermore, the ProjectKitchen offers also advanced development platforms, opportunities for networking with UAS institutes and research teams as well as finalization of project work in course of master or bachelor thesis. The ProjectKitchen is to be a meeting place for people who like to experiment. It will offer a playful approach to modern technology and state-of-the-art tools for technology development, without any pressure to perform, similar to the community-driven hackerspaces.

Some impressions from the awesome workshop with Mz. Baltazars Laboratory @ ProjectKitchen!!!

Speaker: Anna Vasof.

Non-Stop Stop-Motion is an ongoing practice-based artistic research project at the crossroads between: video, performance, fine arts, and the overarching area of expanded cinema. It investigates where we can find the essence of cinematic illusion when we look into everyday life, and what happens when we use everyday situations, objects, spaces and actions as cinematographic mechanisms. During the workshop we will use everyday objects and actions, in order to cause and activate and reveal unexpected narratives and understandings of how we perceive the moving image illusions.
