💪 What our team is currently working on: Challenging xenophobia.

📝 Our colleague Zack Zimbalist recently completed a working paper in which he analyses the attitudes of people in South Africa towards the government's immigration policy.

🇿🇦 There are roughly four million immigrants living in South Africa. Especially in election times, many political parties take a harder line on migration. However, Zack's research shows that this course is not shared by everyone. Instead, many South Africans seem to value the economic contribution of immigrants.

🎓 Economy, environment, politics - think further!

ℹ This is the motto of the WUPOL branch of the Bachelor's programme in Business, Economics and Social Sciences at WU (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien). The winter semester 2024/25 will also see the first specialisations within the branch.

🎙 As an orientation aid, the WUPOL student team has recorded some podcasts in German: Each episode presents one of the specialisations. Interviews are conducted with the specialisation coordinators and students.
