Over the past five years, children's "academies" and "universities" have been popping up massively in Europe. Turning serious learning into a circus and a show devalues the very essence of education and hard work.

Marketing tricks blur basic definitions:

Shows are passed off as scientific experiments without explaining the laws of physics or chemistry.

Toy assembly is called a "project."

Recreational clubs are labeled "academies."

Clear Definitions:
A club is a place for positive emotions.

A school is an institution for learning.

Institutes, universities, and academies are strictly higher education institutions.

A project is the creation of a new product or idea with set goals and deadlines, rather than following a preset script for a quest.

Instilling in children a disregard for hard work in favor of pure entertainment is a path to the degradation of society. Do not fall for marketing gimmicks.

Since the mid-2000s, the IT industry has lived by a simple rule: why optimize code when you can just sell the user more powerful hardware? Manufacturer strategies relied on users buying new devices every two years with more memory and cores just to run new resource-hogging "buttons."

However, since early 2026, amid the AI frenzy, RAM and storage prices have surged 2 to 3 times. Continuing to release new devices with the same or greater memory for the same price has become impossible, and very few people are willing to pay 3,000 euros for a smartphone. It seemed like a dead end.

Yet a solution has emerged: rumors suggest Google plans to reduce RAM in the upcoming Pixel 11 series by 25% to keep prices steady, compensating for it through... software optimization!

Let's see if the industry can remember the forgotten art of efficient code. The main challenge will be finding specialists capable of this feat.
