✨️Within the framework of the Golden Lyre International Music Festival, we are delighted to announce the upcoming piano masterclass led by internationally acclaimed pianist, professor Olga Zdorenko.

🎶Yesterday, the Director of the Vienna Beethoven Conservatory, Siranush Galoyan-Tkachenko, warmly welcomed Professor Zdorenko together with Werner Hackl conductor of the Vienna Beethoven Orchestra.

🎹During their meeting, they held an engaging discussion about the upcoming masterclass, the festival program, and possibilities for future collaboration between the artists and the institution.

📢The three-day masterclass will commence today, bringing together talented young pianists and music enthusiasts for an inspiring educational experience.

🎵The project will culminate on June 3 with a Gala Concert, featuring performances by the masterclass participants and celebrating the artistic achievements of the festival.

The program offers students the chance to develop their artistic skills under the guidance of one of Vienna’s most distinguished vocal artists.

✨️KS Olivera Miljaković — Legend of the Vienna State Opera

Olivera Miljaković is an outstanding operatic soprano and recipient of the prestigious Austrian title Kammersängerin (KS), an honor awarded only to artists of exceptional achievement. Since 1962, she was a soloist of the Vienna State Opera, where she performed in more than 700 productions during a remarkable 32-year career.
Throughout her international career, she appeared under the baton of some of the world’s greatest conductors, including Herbert von Karajan, Leonard Bernstein, Zubin Mehta, Lorin Maazel, and Carlos Kleiber.
🏆 In recognition of her outstanding contribution to the world of music, she was awarded the Golden Ring of the Vienna State Opera, as well as the Silver and Gold Medals of the Republic of Austria.

📍Most recently, during her Jubilee Concert organized by the Vienna Beethoven Conservatory, KS Olivera Miljaković was honored with the Medal of Honor of the Federal Capital Vienna (Ehrenmedaille der Bundeshauptstadt Wien). The distinction was awarded by the Mayor and Governor of Vienna, Michael Ludwig, in recognition of her extraordinary artistic achievements and her lifelong dedication to music and culture.

Wir gratulieren das Vienna Beethoven Conservatory von ganzem Herzen zum Erhalt des Öffentlichkeitsrechts!

Dies ist weit mehr als eine administrative Entscheidung. Es ist die Anerkennung einer enormen Arbeit, großer Hingabe, einer außergewöhnlichen gemeinsamen Leistung des gesamten Teams und des Glaubens daran, dass echte musikalische Bildung nur dort entstehen kann, wo der Geist wahrer Kunst lebendig ist.

Mit Stolz und tiefer Dankbarkeit blicken wir auf die Stadt Wien und die Republik Österreich — ein Land, das seit Jahrhunderten die Traditionen der großen europäischen Musik bewahrt und Bedingungen schafft, unter denen Kunst nicht nur existiert, sondern gedeiht. Genau hier, in der Stadt von Beethoven, Mozart und Schubert, wurde dieser historische Erfolg möglich. Wir sind allen zutiefst dankbar, die uns über all die Jahre begleitet haben — den Partnern und Freunden des Konservatoriums sowie allen Pädagogen und Studierenden, die ihre Kraft, ihr Talent und ihre Seele in die Entwicklung des Vienna Beethoven Conservatory eingebracht haben, auch in schwierigen Zeiten an uns geglaubt und den Weg gemeinsam mit uns weitergegangen sind.
