A podcast, a drum session... and one unforgettable first session on the drum set 🥁🎙️

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the BR Symphonieorchester Podcast Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks to MyGroove for a special recording with Martin Grubinger Martin Grubinger

Of course, we couldn’t let them leave without experiencing the MyGroove App firsthand. Together with violinist Anne Schoenholtz Anne Schoenholtz jumped into a spontaneous drum session in the app. The result? Playing one full song after just 25 minutes 🔝

The energy in the room was incredible, the feedback was amazing, and by the end, everyone in the team was hooked. And that’s exactly what MyGroove is all about: making music together from the very first session.

Because music isn’t just about learning notes —it’s about sharing moments, growing together, and experiencing the joy of playing an instrument.

The school year is over — and that calls for a proper celebration! We did it the MyGroove way - making music together 🎶💜

Together with the students of Gymnasium Dachsberg Gymnasium und ORG Dachsberg we turned their last day of school into a full concert. 2 Workshops with up to 450 kids each. First shaky rhythms but always big smiles and loud cheers whenever a new song was learned 🌟

The kids already trained the weeks before with the MyGroove App, so on the big day they could simply step up and perform in front of a crowd 🎹
As a special highlight, some of the students were even called up on stage to play alongside the Pro Drummers💥🥁

What made it so special? Nobody needed to be “musical” to begin with. Just curiosity, a shaker in hand and the willingness to try something new.

Because that’s what MyGroove is all about: discovering your rhythm, finding your voice and realizing that making music is way more fun than just listening to it 💜

What if dancers became drummers for one hour? 🥁 Spoiler: Pure magic.
 
Rhythm is something dancers already have — it lives in every move they make. But this time, instead of moving TO the beat, they became the ones CREATING it.
 
Together with the incredible Athletes from Red Bull Dance Your Style Red Bull Dance Red Bull Austria 🇦🇹 we spent one unforgettable hour behind the drum kit giving them a MyGroove Drum Workshop. There were first grooves, big smiles, moments of full concentration, loud cheers after every breakthrough and, before anyone expected it…  playing a full song Jet Plane together. ✨
 
What made it even more special? Every single beat they played was learned with the MyGroove App MyGroove App. From holding the sticks, to learning the right techniques, to building solid grooves step by step, to practicing real songs inside the app — everything was designed to make learning feel natural, motivating and, most importantly, fun 📲🥁
 
In just one session, they experienced how quickly you can build confidence on the drums & find your rhythm when learning is structured, interactive and enjoyable. No previous drumming experience. Just rhythm, curiosity and the willingness to try something new.
