I just wanted to share the pomodoro method with everyone - my kids has been finding it a useful way to get some assignments finished. https://todoist.com/productivity-methods/pomodoro-technique My kids are working for 15 minute "pomodoros" then having a 5 minute break.

It is so easy to get stuck on the parts of our kids that drive us crazy..perhaps these parts remind us of our least favourite parts of ourselves.. Look for the good and you will find it and may this year be your best yet!

Write a packing list for your kids:
Add drawings, boxes to tick or use a hi-lighter. I love using packing lists because now we only take what the kids will wear and I don't have to try and guess what that might be. I would love to hear who has tried something similar!

It certainly is tempting to yell out what you need your kids to do (you are a busy person and there is a lot to do) but if you feel like you say things and your kids don't listen to you.. Try this instead

It's so easy to complain about our kids to a friend or partner when we are frustrated with them.. resist the urge to do this and give your kids a boost of confidence and try this instead.
