Our international students swapped lecture halls for high ropes at Kletterwald Graz this week! From wobbly first steps on the practice course to confidently swinging through the treetops, everyone left with sore arms and huge smiles 😄

Thanks to the awesome trainers at Kletterwald Graz for keeping us safe up there! 🙌

Hi, everyone! Here is Vanesa, your study abroad peer. My time in Hong Kong comes to an end and I wish to share with you my favourite places here and hopefully inspire you to take the chance that TU Graz gives us and do your exchange semester here as well.

As an architecture student I appreciate every single aspect of the city, including nature and landscape.

This journey opened my eyes. I am truly grateful for everything that has happened over the past months and for everybody I had the pleasure to meet in Hong Kong 🇭🇰

If you have any questions or just want to share your thoughts and experience, feel free to reach out to me Vanessa

When international colleagues from TU Graz, Uni Graz and Med Uni Graz share a sunny afternoon in the Stadtpark, good things happen. We had ice cream, Spikeball, and a lot of great company. 🍦🏐

Hii everyone, and welcome to my (probably for now) last update from Seoul, South Korea! 🇰🇷✨

It’s Jana, your Korean Study Abroad Peer, and for my final post I want to share some impressions and photos from my last few weeks in Seoul. The semester - and with it, my time in South Korea - flew by so fast and I’m incredibly sad that this amazing experience is coming to an end soon.

My final week, including the certificate of completion photoshoot in front of ECC, was full of „lasts“: our last hike, our last trip to N Seoul Tower, our last visit to Gangnam, our last time getting ready together, our last ramen picnic by the Han River, our last time watching the Rainbow Fountain at Banpo Bridge...

I truly enjoyed every single moment of this journey (even studying for exams haha) and met so many wonderful and inspiring people who made my semester abroad so special. Spending a semester in a country you’ve never been to creates a unique bond with the people around you and I’m pretty sure I’ve made friendships that will last a lifetime.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity that TU Graz International and ISEP gave me, because without them I probably would never have experienced all of this or learned so much - not only about South Korea, but also about myself. Looking back, I can only encourage everyone to consider studying abroad. Spending a semester or even a whole year in another country is such a unique and rewarding experience. So trust me, you definitely won’t regret it and TU Graz International offers a wide range of exchange programs, whether you’d like to stay in Europe or explore somewhere overseas.

I hope my posts have been helpful and if you have any questions about Seoul, Ewha Womans University, studying abroad in general or the application and organizational process, please feel free to contact me via my Instagram . I’d be more than happy to answer your questions and help clarify anything you’re unsure about.

Wishing you all the best,
Jana

Summer in Graz calls for pizza, ice cream, and Uno in the Stadtpark. Our students came together for a well-deserved afternoon off. 🍕🍦☀️

Train rides, miniature worlds, and lakeside views 🚂✨

Our Welcome Center team took a trip to Carinthia with our international staff, doctoral students, and their families—It was the perfect opportunity to connect, relax, and explore the beauty of Austria together!

We hopped on the train from Graz, visited the whole world in an afternoon at Minimundus, sailed across the gorgeous Wörthersee, and wrapped up the day in picturesque Velden.

Check out some of our favorite moments! 📸 👇

Hello everyone, it’s Jana with an update from South Korea! 🇰🇷🌊🍊

Before final exams began — and with that the end of my semester abroad approaching — I decided to take one last solo trip. What is a better place to escape the busy city life than Jeju Island?

From stunning beaches and volcanic landscapes to coastal walks, street food markets, cozy cafés and countless Hallabong orange juices and mandarins, Jeju was the perfect place to recharge before the final weeks of the semester.

If you consider doing a semester abroad in South Korea or planning a trip through the country, Jeju Island is definitely definitely a place worth adding to your bucket list and destination you shouldn’t miss!

Best wishes,
Jana
