The Institute of Industrial Management and Innovation Research (IBL) was established in 1970. Prof. Josef Wohinz in 1979. In 2005, Prof. Since 2011, Prof.
Hans Hinterhuber was the first head of the institute followed by Prof. Wohinz be¬came head of the new institute of Production Science and Management (PSM) which was founded in cooperation with Magna International Inc. at Graz University of Technology. Welcome Day zum Semesterstart – Wir wünschen ein erfolgreiches Wintersemester! 💪
Wie bereits in den Vorjahren veranstaltete das IIM-Institut in der ersten Vorlesungswoche des Wintersemesters seinen Welcome Day. Dazu fand im Rahmen der Vorlesung „Industriebetriebslehre“ eine Podiumsdiskussion statt.
Georg List und Paul Schiffbänker von der AVL List GmbH diskutierten mit Prof. Ramsauer über die Herausforderungen der heimischen Industrie. Dabei wurden Erfahrungen und Meinungen zu aktuellen Themen wie verlässliche Lieferketten und Nachhaltigkeit ausgetauscht.
Die Studierenden stellten eifrig Fragen; besonders interessiert war der Ingenieursnachwuchs an Tipps, wie der Einstieg ins Berufsleben besonders gut gelingt. Dieses Thema wurde auch beim anschließenden Imbiss mit den Institutsmitarbeitern diskutiert.
Bei dieser Gelegenheit wurde an Thementischen über offene Abschlussarbeiten und mögliche Projekte wie SpInnovation und Product Innovation informiert.
