We are proud to announce that for the fifth time in a row, our students have won the annual WSA UniVation Contest! 🥳
UniVation is an international entrepreneurship program for students, conducted by WSA. It brings together students from multiple universities to collaboratively analyze purpose-driven tech ventures from across the world, namely of former WSA winners.
Our two winning teams (who came in first and second in the competion 🥇🥈) convinced the jury with their creative pitches for the companies "WeUse" and "DBOX".
We are now looking forward to UniVation's next phase, the European Young Innovators Festival, which our students will attend in Graz in May 2023! 🤩😎

Are you interested in getting a behind-the-scenes insight into how sustainable companies work? So are our students! 🤓🌿
In an online guest lecture within the study track "Global Green and Social Business", students got to ask Georg Strasser, the Country Manager (Austria) of "Too Good to Go" any questions they had.
The students learned more about the company's cooperations with other companies and supermarkets, Too Good to Go's sustainability strategies in Austria and other markets, as well as their future goals.
Thanks to Georg Strasser and Too Good to Go, and Lisa Mahajan for an interesting exchange and a "backstage" insight into the successful app! 👏🍎🎉

Last week, our students from the study track "Global Green and Social Business" were able to do a company visit at Niceshops in Saaz, an internationally active Austrian trading and e-commerce company. 📦🌳🌞
With their environmentally friendly and plastic-free shipping, their electricity used being 100% "green" and multiple "best employer" awards, Niceshops served as an ideal "good practice" example. During their company visit, the students could see the theory that they learned in the subject "CSR and Sustainable Partnerships" in practice! 🌱👏
