Hello out there people,

How are you today??

I've been going through all kinds of realisations and emotional releases - this is the yoga of knowledge and self-inquiry or jñãna yoga where we get philosophical and ask questions like "Who am I?", digging deeper into our own patterns, behaviours, personality so that we can get closer to the truth and attain moksha or freedom.

Below are your chances for the week to dip into some yoga. Living yoga incorporates a little of all of the classical yogas: jñāna, bhakti, karma, raja alongside hatha yoga which includes the yoga postures known as āsana, prāṇāyāma or breath techniques; and meditation. A yoga nidrā is almost always included towards the end of our class.

Good morning friends,

Here are some impressions from just before Saturday's Kirtan, the first of many to come in the new Yogaraum. 🎵🕉️🙏🏻.

Thanks so much to those who came along with open minds and sang with open hearts! 💞 It feels good to be offering some seva again, the donations went straight to Ecuador to help tribes battling deforestation, violence and murder, alongside the poisoning of their ancestral lands and the rivers of life which they tend. Snake bites are also a common occurrence with people having to travel great distances for life-saving treatment and care.

We often take so much for granted, I have an abundance of clean drinkable water where I live; a helicopter comes when lives are in danger to get casualties to hospital as quick as possible. Supporting our brothers and sisters in other parts of the world is crucial to saving our Earth and all beings which live upon and within her.

This week I'm running a minimal schedule and due to an arm and shoulder injury (Nalah's
Border collie half's herding instincts chasing birds while I was still holding the lead 🤪), I'm unable to take any Thai Massage requests. It's plenty of rest for me this week then, what to do but surrender to the process and take some time out. 🤷🏻‍♀️😴☀️

How's it going out there with the lion's portal tomorrow and Venus, Mars and Mercury are all shifting signs. 😅

Nestled in the enchanting, idyllic retreat village of Gramais, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, we gather to sing. I will be playing the harmonium and will also have percussion instruments. Bring your instrument to join in!

Kirtan is an Indian form of mantra chanting, performed or shared in a call-and-response style. This is followed by a period of silent meditation.

Children are also welcome, provided they respect the space and mostly remain quiet during the meditations.

This event is donation-based. Donations will benefit an Achuar community in the Ecuadorian Amazon, where the tribe is fighting against illegal logging and mining and the resulting pollution and devastation.

No prior experience is necessary.

Organic tea is included.

Hey hey happy Monday!

Phew it's intense right now, isn't it?! I'm needing lots of alone time and nature time with Nalah, I'm less sociable which is funny 'cos it's Leo 🦁 time and I'm usually on fire 🔥 in my home sign. I'm listening better to what my body mind needs and I'm resting a lot.

This is the last week of term for all 🧘🏻‍♀️ classes which aren't held in Gramais. There's a summer programme with 2 classes a week up here in the village and a Kirtan each month; with another chance to experience 'Elemental Flow' in August.

Kirtan in the new Yogashala is on Saturday night. If lots of people sign up, we'll move to the Auszeitraum instead. Please let me know by Wednesday evening if you'd like to attend. 🎵📿♌️🎹🎤

Namasteॐ Om 🕉

OM AUM
Om is the all encompassing Cosmic
Vibration of The Universe.

The Om (Aum) symbol represents the primordial sound of the universe and is considered the essence of universal consciousness.

It consists of three main curves, a semicircle, and a dot, representing the three-fold division of time and states of consciousness:
A for waking,
U for dreaming, and
M for deep sleep.

The symbol is fundamental in Hindu,
Buddhist, and Jain religions, often chanted
during meditation and at the start or end
of yoga practices.
You can also listen to the chant in order to vibrate higher.
The silence following the chant represents the "Absolute State," or infinite consciousness.
