"My semester abroad was the adventure of a lifetime! I have nothing but gratitude for each and every moment.

Everything about the semester was new and uncomfortable for me, but in all of that there was a reminder to embrace the unknown and step out of my comfort zone. Austria didn’t 'change' me; rather, it helped me become more fully alive as the woman God created me to be.

Each week I was reminded how intentional the Lord is. Every joy and suffering was a gift and all part of God’s plan for my semester.

Lastly, going abroad truly shows you how rich and vibrant Franciscan University’s community is. I would encourage everyone to dive in and say 'yes' to this unique, transformative experience!"

This? This is my kind of summer. A mix of prayer, people, and feeling like Julie Andrews could pop out at any moment to sing “The Hills Are Alive”.
