Today’s training session on The Molltaler glacier was as good as it gets. Good weather, good snow and good students.

Last training camp before summer break. Technique improvement, strength, stamina and endurance. All part of every day training session. Finishing touches on everything we learned through out this past season and final assessment on the yearly progress. That’s all for now, but if you can , stay skiing.

I know some people will hate us🙂. But sometimes a change can bring good things. Thank you Sport servis športne opreme for the collaboration, trust and help. We are looking forward to put those new skis to work , hopefully with good results. … I’ve just realized his skis are catching up with mine very quickly 😂. Stay skiing.

Let this common passion unite us again. For the last 10 years I’ve been coaching hundreds of young athletes all over Europe. Kids from The Netherlands to Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Romania , Hungary, Korea, Turkey, Poland, Slovakia, USA, Great Britain,China, Bulgaria, Germany, Chile and Norway came to our ski race camps not only to get better at it but to experience what our ski community had to offer: friendship, cultural exchange and fun. The experiences, memories and relationships built on these days will last them a lifetime, and skiing was the binding instrument in achieving that. As the new year starts, I want to express my deepest gratitude for allowing me to be your coach , mentor and friend. I’m looking forward to seeing you again on the snow and ski, train or race together. Stay skiing.

A fun and successful Race and Snow Camp in Val di Fiemme/Italy in collaboration with Sport N’Joy Team. A week of race technique development , gates and free skiing has come to an end and it was a privilege to be invited to teach and share my knowledge with those young athletes. Next week Kranska Gora, Schladming and Kravavec. Busy mid season . Stay skiing.

The storm has passed so the fat skis are coming out for a play! It can’t be just work and no play. Where is the fun in that? And at the end of the day skiing should be all about having fun! Stay skiing.

Outside your comfort zone is when you become alive! Your senses heightened, nerves are tensed, your skin is tingling , your hart beat quickens and your breathing becomes sharp… and then just like that everything changes to an exhilarating new state: the zone…where nothing else exists or maters. Just you and the clock. Stay skiing.

Athlete: Coach, how do I stay motivated every day? Some mornings I just don’t want to train.

Coach: Motivation is great, but it’s not reliable. Discipline is what gets you out the door when motivation fades.

Athlete: But what if I don’t feel like it at all?

Coach: Then you show up anyway. Discipline means keeping the promise you made to yourself, not listening to your mood.

Athlete: So discipline is stronger than motivation?

Coach: Exactly. Motivation gets you started. Discipline keeps you going. That’s how champions are built.

Athlete: And what about sacrifice? Do I have to give up too much for this?

Coach: Sacrifice is part of it, yes. But think of it as an investment—you’re trading short-term comfort for long-term greatness.

Athlete: I get it. So even on tough days, showing up is the real victory.

Coach: That’s right. Every time you choose discipline over excuses, you’re one step closer to your best self.
