Absolute Pilots Flight School

Absolute Pilots Flight School We are focused on your PILOT career. Attain your PPL(A) after just 8 weeks and
complete your CPL(A

The superior quality of our flying training and the vast experience of our professional instructors provides the best preparation for anyone who has the goal of becoming an airline pilot. It is our duty to prepare and advise the student and their family about what lies ahead, in advance and in an honest way, to create the fairest possible relationship

Our approach of streamlined training makes it

possible to achieve a PPL(A) after just 8 weeks and a CPL(A)+ATPL(A) theory in 12 months. Graz (IATA: GRZ, ICAO: LOWG) is the ideal location for pilot training. The airfield is large enough to provide a broad professional experience but small enough to provide you the time and space you need to learn to become a pilot.

Pilots use Math the whole time during flight to make assessments of aircraft performance, so they need to have skills, tricks, and tools to help them make good approximations. But unlike Math at school, these calculations are practical in nature. We'll give you heaps of practise that'll help turn you into the Math genius that you'll need to be when you're sitting at the controls of an airliner.

NEW BLOG: MEP: BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL AVIATOR
Ask any professional pilot, and they will recall their first MEP flight like it was yesterday. Sitting in the aircraft, surrounded by switches and systems which are similar to those you've seen before, but somehow exotic and fascinating. With MEP you're entering the new world beyond the PPL and becoming a professional aviator. Read blog at https://www.absolutepilots.com/en/becoming-a-professional-aviator/

3 INSTRUCTORS + 3 BIG SMILES!
Andreas, Andrew & Martin all met on the Apron at LOWG this morning. It was before 07:00 CET and the smiles were naturally visible in anticipation of today's tasks: a licence revalidation in the DA42 for Andreas and a ferry flight to Lesce Bled (LJBL) for Andrew and Martin for routine maintenance on a Cessna. A crisp cold day, but clearly some warm team spirit!

INTERPRETING WEATHER CHARTS
As a pilot you must be able to interpret weather charts. Once you understand them, it is really rather easy. It's worth taking a few minutes at the start of your Meteorology journey to look up https://www.rmets.org/metmatters/how-interpret-weather-chart, and create a log in at https://www.austrocontrol.at/flugwetter/

Ever looked at a synoptic or pressure chart and felt a bit lost? They can seem a bit daunting at first, what with all the different coloured lines, semicircles and triangles; but they are actually quite simple to interpret. And once you’ve got the hang of them, you’ll be able to tell at a glance...

Do you need PERFECT VISION to be able to train as a pilot?

In a word: No. As long as your eyesight is correctable to within certain limits, you are able to fly with glasses (die Brille). Many pilots even have corrective laser surgery which negates the need for glasses.

If you're unsure whether your eyesight is going to be good enough, call us and we'll explain the regulations to help you understand the medical requirements for your Private and Commercial Pilot License +43 664 1022033

FROM PPL TO CPL IN LOGICAL BITE-SIZED PIECES
It doesn't have to be daunting: the transition from being a PPL holder to becoming a Commercial Pilot is just a process. The training basics are laid out in the regulations, which can appear complicated, but we apply our years of experience to ensure that your CPL learning journey is well-structured and divided into logical bite-sized pieces.
