And that’s a wrap on our weekend of Intensive Trauma Wetlab Days!

It was a great experience, and the most valuable part was hearing our participants say things like:

“Six weeks into my specialty, I already had my first trauma case — a corneal laceration — and that’s exactly why I came here. Now I feel much more confident performing corneal sutures after training on pig eyes.”

Welcome to Day 1 of the Intensive Trauma Wetlab Days 2026 ✨

Four days of hands-on ocular traumatology training at our headquarters in Ötztal Bahnhof, Austria, where surgeons — from residents to seasoned specialists — are working to master the primary treatment of severe ocular and eyelid injuries and the reconstruction of secondary complications.
