It was a true honor to have Miss American Samoa visit our campus, where she took the time to connect with our young scholars and meet with our acting Assistant Director of Head Start and CFO. Her presence brought a warm and uplifting energy to our classrooms, reminding us of the strength, beauty, and potential that exist within our community.

Moments like these inspire our children to dream big from the very beginning!

Tafuna ECE is stepping into this new school year stronger, cleaner, and more ready than ever to provide a safe and healthy environment for our students.

Thank you to our ECE leadership Team, our Assistant Director, Program Directors, Managers, and our entire ECE Department for their continuous guidance and for working right alongside us to ensure our campus met every standard and was 100% ready for our kids. We also want to thank our American Samoa Department of Education Director and the DOE main office for the Tautua Well-Being Program. This initiative gave us the dedicated time and support needed to focus entirely on getting our school completely prepped and safe for our children.

This year is already looking great, and we canโ€™t wait to welcome our students back to a clean, safe, and happy learning space!

Last week, Tafuna ECE actively participated in our Head Start Annual Transportation Drill Training, engaging teachers, students, and parents. The session provided valuable insights into emergency procedures, ensuring everyone knows what steps to take anytime an emergency occurs. This proactive approach helps build confidence and preparedness among all involved.

As the holiday season unfolds and Christmas draws near, the faculty and staff of Tafuna ECE extend our warmest wishes for a truly magical and joyous time.

Looking back on our journey, we have faced many challenges, yet we have overcome them all. These experiences have proven that we are truly strong together, and that strength is fueled by the support we receive from each of you. We are deeply driven by the love and encouragement our community has shown us, and we wish an abundance of peace and blessings upon your homes.

To celebrate this spirit of togetherness, please enjoy these highlights from our festive holiday photoshoot!

A special shout out to Lina Veavea at Kailaniโ€™s Design for our custom-made Uniform, and the ever so talented Sinavemafiti for capturing these precious memories.

Happy Holidays๐ŸŽ„
