Many trauma survivors don't only remember the trauma with their mind. For some, they may not remember it at all, yet the their body continues to carry the impact. A few questions to ask yourself:

Did something good happen this week?
What made me laugh/smile?
Who made me feel seen and heard?
What were your small and big wins this week?
What are you most grateful for?
What am I look forward to next week?

As we come reflect back on this week, what has filled your cup? As we fill our hearts and mind with good things, we then are able to love ourselves and find joy again.

Talking about mental health is the first step to healing. Treat your mind like a garden - prune what harms it, plant what nourishes it, and then give it time to grow.
