Friday night preparation: Loading up all the tools for an early morning job. Saturday early morning May 16th, Unloading the same tools off of the truck due to rain. Due to recent developments and increasing costs of fuel and diesel based products that Green Island Services use for our operations and services (Fuel, trimmer lines, 2 cycle oil, 4 cycle straight grade oil and motor oil) we would like to inform everyone that we will increase our service prices in the near future. One of the many lesson I learned throughout the years from operating my business is You don’t need to rush into making decisions on whether to accept or reject a potential client. You need to do your due diligence and research, weigh the pros and cons and see if it’s a need or not. Take the time not risk 🤙

For us, it don’t matter. Rain or shine, we’re heading out into the battlefield. Nothing and nobody AND I MEAN NOBODY can stop or change my mind. We made a promise and we must live up to it. We must get these 6 jobs done by 4pm today! Many people have asked me: You’ve been in the landscaping business for a long time but your business has never really grown, it’s always been the same. Why? And my answer is always been the same. There are two(2) different types of people who goes into business. (1). A person whose goal is to make money, grow and expand and (2) A person who’s goal is to make a living. I chose the latter. What’s the difference? they ask. Me: We pay all our bills and take care of all expenses in the beginning of every month (we save a little $$$), and here’s the best part- We work 10 or less days every month 😱😱. Yup, we spend most of our time with our children, family and friends and tend to other important things while we work parttime with full time income 😀😀😀😎😎 - to be continued ✌️
