📖 “Phrasal verbs” are verbs that are followed by a preposition or an adverb, and can completely change the meaning of the original verb!

📖 These are just some examples of the phrasal verbs you can form using the verb “run”.

Do you know the difference between them?

• run AFTER: to chase or seek to acquire something
• run INTO: collide with someone or something
• run OUT OF: to finish, use or sell all of something, so that there is none left
• run FOR: to compete in an election
• run THROUGH: to look at, examine, or deal with a set of things, especially quickly

Can you come up with any sentences that include these phrasal verbs? 😁👍🏽

Did you know that Spanish learners of English often muddle up make and do? We find these words very similar!
We have to be very careful when we’re making sentences that include any of these two words. But here are some tips that might help!

📍 TO DO is used when talking about work, jobs or tasks. It’s also used when we refer to non specific things (“I have something/nothing/things to do!”)
📍 TO MAKE is for producing, constructing, creating or building something new!

There are some collocations that we just have to study and memorize, and might not follow these rules we just explained... But don’t worry! We’ll do it together 😉👍🏽
