MY FIRST HOLIDAY ALONE
“it all seems like yesterday not far away, tropical the island breeze, all nature wild and free”…say a song…
But not all was beautiful and pink on my holiday. I knew a reliably boy that invited to my friend Daisy and me __ a barbecue in his house, we would sleep there and the next day we would go to an island.
Daisy and me take a metro bus, we had already known it, then take a train, for first time. We were talking and talking and the train was moving and moving, not reached our train stop, the people look at us.
Daisy started to get nervous, the landscape had changed completely, it seemed dirty and ugly. When we arrived, one woman and one man were approached us. They insisted that we come back, they said that place was dangerous for us. They never left our side while we were trying to call our friend. By their insistence we decided to go back….”without talking on the train”… they said.
Now I think they were our angels.
ah! Obviously, we were able to realize the journey to the island the next day, happily.

I remember when I went to Fortaleza in the northeast of Brazil and I had my first experience in a big water park called Beach Park, the biggest in Latin America. I was very excited and afraid at the same time because the place was amazing and it had a lot of activities but some waterslides were very impressive. Before I traveled I had searched for information on the Internet and I said to myself "I will go to play at all games" in this moment but I didn't know how I'd feel about being there. The park has many waterslides but one in particular called Insano of over 40 meters high is the main attraction. The other waterslides were smaller than Insano but not less important in adventure and thrill. At the beginning, when I was throwing myself off one waterslide I was terrified I thought " What the hell am I doing here" but then I felt more relaxed and I enjoyed almost all the attractions of the park. Obviously, I couldn’t throw myself off Insano that day because I thought I was going to die. It was an amazing day.

Last year I applied for a position in the university in the chair of Anatomy. I had to do a class in 48 hours and then present this class forward my professors.
I felt under pressure because I had only two days to make and study my presentation. My father helped me to prepare the class and he taught me how I had to speak and explain the theme.
I didn’t win but I felt so happy because it was a good experience for me and I learned many things for my profession.

I travelled with my husband and a friend to Bs As and we stayed at my cousin's house for 2 days.
The day of the gig, we had to go there early because there were/WAS a very long queue. We had an excellent view from our seats.
Suddenly, the lights turned off, and while the people were screaming in the darkness stadium, Rogers Waters started to sing....I felt so moved ! It was like I'd BEEN transported to another place..
It wasn't my first time that I heard R. Waters, in fact, when we lived in Barcelona we had seen him too! and the best THING was that we could see another concert: "THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON" !
I'll never forget those experiences. Twice, I felt THE same things. Twice, I needed a long time to leave behind these really moving sensations...portions of adrenalin necessary in any life

Two years ago I quit smoking and that was one of most important events in my whole life. At that time I had tried umpteen times before, obviously without good results. I can't say that it was easy but if you ask me: Was it worth __? The answer is always a great YES!
The idea of stop smoking was chasing me during months but, as any smoker knows, always there is a magnificent excuse to do it later. The night that effectively I started to quit smoking was a common night in which I was surfing the web when an advert appeared in my screen saying "stop smoking now!" People that spend time on __ internet tend to not pay too much attention in that kind of adverts, however that time I clicked it.
The advert directed me to a commercial web of a known ni****ne chewing gum. This web site showed a perfectly ordered plan for quit smoking __ reducing the number of cigarretes smoked by day and a few extra tasks that would be delivered via email day bay day. I read carefully the instructions and I said: Why not? at that time I had tried almost everything! and as anyone can imagine I felt a quite pessimistic about stop smoking. Despite this I decide to try one more time.
During the first days I felt a combination of anger, enthusiasm, anxiety, and hope... everything mixed in a single time bomb that could explode in front of anyone at anytime.
From here, two years after that I can see that this single event changed my life in many ways. The action of smoking isn't only related to the moments in which you are actually smoking. Live your days under the influence of ni****ne makes you a person much more nervous and without this drug in your body you can live a more relaxed life.

History & Art. Went to see 'Esa Mujer' at the circulo theatre last night. It's by Rodolfo Walsh and was originally written for radio. Highly recommended. Acting superb.
