DERECHO PROCESAL PENAL PARA TRADUCTORES PÚBLICOS. Encuentros virtuales y...¡grabados para quien quiera ver en diferido!

VOCABULARY FOR IELTS (Source: Keith Speaking Academy):
IELTS Speaking can sometimes throw in some unusual topics, right?
Recently, We saw these part 1 topics like Shoes, Machines, Plants and E-books,! Not everyday conversations, right?
Why does IELTS have such strange topics?
Because the examiner wants to see how well you can adapt your vocabulary to any situation.

Now: some key collocations to help you shine, even with these strange topics!
1. SHOES
To be the right size = To fit correctly
To be worn out = to be old and damaged
If my shoes are worn out, I will buy a new pair, but it’s difficult to get the right size because I have one foot bigger than the other!
2. MACHINES
Over-complicated (adj.) = Made more complex than necessary
Intuitive (adj.) = Easy to use or understand because it feels natural
Most coffee machines are over-complicated and hard to use, but this new one has such an intuitive design, I love it!
3. PLANTS
Indoor plants = plants that are kept inside a house
To oxygenate = to add oxygen to something
I have a few indoor plants at home. They help oxygenate the room and create a calming atmosphere.
4. E-BOOKS
Portable (adjustable.) = easy to carry
Digital library = collection of books in a digital format
I prefer reading e-books because they’re portable, and I can carry my whole digital library wherever I go.
