📣 Helena Cánepa y Mara Campanelli, docentes certificadas en el Método Rabine, proponen un espacio de entrenamiento y exploración de la voz como resultado físico-acústico de un cuerpo en situación performática.

🗣️ Orientado a docentes, actrices, actores, cantantes, narradores/as, titiriteros/as, locutores y todas las personas que utilicen su voz en la comunicación.

😃 A través de ejercicios que combinen movimientos corporales con la voz, abordaremos conceptos vinculados a postura, respiración, movimiento (tanto del cuerpo como del sonido) y otros aspectos de la emisión, con el objetivo de plantear estrategias que mejoren la experiencia de producir sonido y potencien la capacidad expresiva en la performance vocal.

👉 Toda la propuesta será conducida dentro de un encuadre cuidadoso de las jerarquías fisiológicas y las influencias recíprocas entre los sistemas corporales y la subjetividad individual.

Upcoming session 📚

“Flowering Judas”, by Katherine Anne Porter (1890-1980)

🗓️ September 26, Saturday

🕙 10 am Argentina time

💻 on Zoom

In this session, we will delve into “Flowering Judas” (1930), Katherine Anne Porter’s psychologically intense short story set in revolutionary Mexico.
At its centre is Laura, a young American caught between her ideals and the disturbing reality she inhabits. Through disillusionment, moral paralysis, guilt and self-betrayal, Porter explores the difficulty of acting in a world where familiar values no longer seem to apply. We will also examine the story’s
powerful religious and sexual symbolism, and the ways in which Porter transforms Laura’s inner conflict into a haunting psychological experience.

How we work:
You read the stories before the online session, jot down your impressions, ideas, and associations and we discuss them on the date we meet.
The texts will be sent by e-mail prior to the meeting, with enough time for you to read them.

On September 8, APRIR was present at the presentation of Santa Fe’s new Primary Education Curriculum, an important step towards shaping the education of the children who will learn, grow and thrive in the years to come.
