Hi everyone!
I just wanted to let you all know that I recently resigned as Director of the UGABA program. The last seven years have been unforgettable, in particular the years 2016-2019 when the program traveled. The future of the program is unclear at this point, but with any luck, someone new will step forward and carry on the program.

Hi all! The UGA Office of Global Engagement has granted Virtual Buenos Aires an application extension until May 24. Please spread the word!
This intensive, Zoom-based program runs June 9-July 12, 6 credits of SPAN 4120, plus a 1-on-1 internship with a professional from Buenos Aires. These are the class topics:

Good news! OGE applied for and WON funds so that the first ten Virtual Buenos Aires students this summer will not have to pay the $725 program fee. Spread the word! Only seven spots left!

Hi all! Please spread the word about our 2021 side project: Virtual Buenos Aires. This is an intensive Spanish program on a budget (only $725 over regular tuition!) designed to give students an international experience at a time when it is not safe to travel. ALL students will have a Zoom-based internship and learn about their career interests in the Argentine context with a professional partner in Buenos Aires. (We also expect that our application for experiential learning credit will be approved).
This supplements 6 credits, two sections of SPAN 4120 (Topics in Literature) on different issues related to Buenos Aires. These classes will be taught by Drs. Patricio Fontana and Pablo Ansolabehere.

Virtual Buenos Aires | Romance Languages Virtual Buenos Aires is a new program for summer 2021, which allows students to have an international experience without leaving the US. This program will offer 6 credits of advanced, 4000-level Spanish coursework as Topics in Spanish (SPAN 4120).

Dear UGABA friends and alumni,
Please help us spread the word that we are going to offer a UGA Virtual Global Studies program called Virtual Buenos Aires this year. This will allow students to have an international experience at a time when it is not possible or totally safe to travel to Buenos Aires. Each student will be able to take six credits of coursework PLUS 40 hours of virtual internship exchange with a specially chosen professional Porteñe partner. Stay tuned for more details!
