What Is Their Main Difference?
We use both of these words to refer to someone's ideas in our own writing or speech, but 'cite' is used when we say that particular person's ideas and theories in our own words, whereas, we use 'quote' when us that person's exact words in our speech.
Differences
As stated above, both of these words are used to refer to someone's ideas ad theories. We use use 'cite' when we want to refer to someone's ideas, theories, principles, etc. in our own words. When we 'quote', we repeat someone's exact, same words. Look below:
The witness cited evidence that proved he was innocent.
John continued the play quoting Shakespeare: "To be or not to be?"
When we 'quote' someone, we must put the saying between 'quotation marks', but when we cite a theory, there is no need to use 'quotation marks'. Look below:
I heard him quote Benjamin Franklin during his speech saying: " Better slip with foot than tongue."
The author has cited different theories of Jacques Lacan.
Similarities
Both of them are used to refer to someone's ideas and theories. Look below:
The experts cited several of Newton's theories on gravity in their final conclusion.
I think I'd better quote some lines from Shakespeare when all the guests have arrived.

What Is Their Main Difference?
'Create' and 'make' both refer to the production of something, but 'make' refers to combining some items together without any creativity, whereas 'create' is when someone brings something into existence, something unique that has been produced for the first time.
Differences
Both of these words are used when we want to show that something is produced. 'Create' shows that something is brought into existence, it is unique because there is creativity behind it. It is the first of its kind. Look at the examples below:
Mary Shelly created Victor Frankenstein in the 18th century.
God created humans and that was her biggest mistake.
'Make' is also used for production. When we 'make' something, we combine several already-made materials together. We make food, desserts, bread, etc. There is no creativity behind it. It is manual and human-made. Look below:
I wish I knew how to make cheesecakes.
I've decided to make white fries for you this weekend.
Similarities
We use both of these words to show the production of something. Look at the following examples:
I wonder who has created all this beauty in nature?
She can't wait for the day you guys make pasta.

What Is Their Main Difference?
We use both 'cold' and 'cool' to talk about the temperature and someone's nature. However, when the weather or a particular drink is cold, it makes that person uncomfortable, and when someone is cold, they are ruthless and unfriendly.
When we use 'cool' to define the temperature, it indicates a nice and refreshing sense in hot weather. Also, when we use 'cool' to talk about how someone behaved, it means that he/she was able to control their feelings and respond calmly.
Differences
When talking about the temperature, we can use both 'cool' and 'cold'. 'Cool' indicates that the chilliness in the air makes one feel refreshed and comfortable, but 'cold' is the kind of weather that one is not comfortable in and craves warmth. Look below:
Last time I visited Vancouver, it was freezing cold.
As you can see, the sentence is showing this person's uneasiness.
I've been in cold weather for so long that I don't really remember how it feels to be warm.
Can you feel the nice, cool breeze blowing?
One of the things we like about summer is this cool, refreshing breeze.
We can also use 'cool' and 'cold' to refer to someone's behavior. When someone is 'cold', that person is ruthless and unfriendly. However, when someone is 'cool' when interacting with other people, they are able to maintain their self-restraint and self-composure, especially in the face of danger. Look below:
That old lady seemed cold at first, but as I got to know her, I changed my mind.
How cold she has become ever since she left her!
My friend keeps telling me to stay cool whenever she wants a reaction of you.
So, all that cool and calculating manner was just a mask?
