GoAbroad.com recently shared the story of Laurie, a British teacher who chose Buenos Aires for a major professional and personal change.
After 17 years of teaching in schools and colleges in the UK, Laurie decided he wanted an internationally recognised TEFL qualification that would prepare him specifically for teaching English abroad. Rather than completing a cheaper online certificate from the UK, he chose to travel to Argentina and complete his training in person at Buenos Aires TEFL Institute.
At Buenos Aires TEFL Institute, Laurie received practical classroom preparation, teaching methodology, observations, feedback and guidance for working as an English teacher in Argentina. Today, Laurie is a TEFL-qualified English teacher living and working in Buenos Aires, having successfully transformed many years of teaching experience in the UK into a new international career.
