✈️🌐 Viaje Educativo a la República de Irlanda y Reino Unido - Secundaria Limerick

Mónica Martin Barton, nuestra directora de estudios de Secundaria, nos cuenta por qué el viaje inmersivo a Irlanda y el Reino Unido forma parte del proyecto educativo plurilingüe y multicultural Limerick: una propuesta que integra idiomas, intercambio cultural y el aprendizaje activo más allá del aula.

Durante tres semanas, los estudiantes de Secundaria 4to año vivirán el inglés en contexto real, explorarán nuevos escenarios culturales, enfrentarán desafíos educativos y sociales, y ampliarán su mirada del mundo.

Un recorrido que los impulsa a crecer con autonomía y confianza, incorporando herramientas concretas para desenvolverse en un mundo cada vez más global.

In this reel, Mónica Martin, our Director of English, explains why the educational trip to Ireland and the United Kingdom is an integral part of Limerick’s bilingual and multicultural educational project: an experience that brings together language, cultural exchange, and learning beyond the classroom.

For three weeks, our 4th-year students experience English in real-life contexts, explore new environments, take on new challenges, and broaden their perspectives.

In our 2-Year-Old Class, Las Abejitas 🐝, every experience is an opportunity to discover the world around us.

This time, we explored the soil, discovered aromatic plants, and learned about biodiversity through curiosity, play, and direct contact with nature. 🌿

🌐 ¿Qué esperan nuestros alumnos de Secundaria 4to Año de su viaje de estudios a Irlanda y el Reino Unido?

En este reel, ellos mismos lo cuentan. 💚

Una experiencia de inmersión lingüística y cultural en la que el idioma trasciende el aula para convertirse en una herramienta de comunicación real.

¿El desafío? Transformar sus propias ideas en historias, personajes, mundos, programación y videojuegos, utilizando lenguaje natural y herramientas de Inteligencia Artificial.

Con la IA como instrumento creativo, exploraron nuevas formas de expresarse, resolver retos y llevar sus proyectos un paso más allá.

Porque aprender tecnología también es aprender a crear con ella.

Our 6th-grade students took part in a workshop with the team from Hey Rabbit, an Argentine technology and Artificial Intelligence initiative designed especially for children and young people.

The challenge? To transform their own ideas into stories, characters, worlds, code, and video games, using natural language and AI tools.

With AI as a creative tool, they explored new ways to express themselves, solve challenges, and take their projects one step further.

Because learning about technology also means learning how to create with it.

✨ From technology users to creators of their own ideas.

Turning screen time into skill-building time.

🌎✨ English at Limerick: From the 2 year old class ~ Open Class | Kindergarten

En un entorno multicultural, aprender una segunda lengua significa mucho más que incorporar vocabulario: significa comunicarse, descubrir nuevas culturas y ampliar la manera de comprender el mundo.

Nuestras familias pudieron conocer de cerca esta experiencia a través de una clase abierta de Inglés, compartiendo junto a los estudiantes una parte de lo que sucede todos los días en nuestras aulas.

En esta etapa, el inglés también se vive a través del juego. Con Miss Nati, cada propuesta se transforma en una oportunidad para aprender jugando:

In a multicultural environment, learning a second language means much more than acquiring new vocabulary: it means communicating, discovering new cultures, and broadening the way we understand the world.

Our families had the opportunity to experience this firsthand through an English Open Class, sharing with our students a glimpse of what happens every day in our classrooms.

At this stage, English is also experienced through play. With Miss Nati, every activity becomes an opportunity to learn while having fun:
