Beautiful Anahí, the Doberman with one of our ceibo trees, Argentina’s national tree, celebrated today on November 22nd.
Thanks to we’ve learned the story of her name sake. There is an old Guaraní legend about a woman named Anahí who defended her land from invaders. Although she was captured and sentenced to death, at sunrise, a tree covered in red flowers rose up at the same spot. The ceibo is now a symbol of strength and connection to the land.
