https://youtu.be/N9XKLqGqwLA?feature=sharedWhen we were young, we used to get so close to it
And you were scared and you were beautiful
I wanna peer over the edge and see in death
If we are always the same
Oh, I fear that no life will ever be like this again
Cause your love kept me alive and it made me insane (oh, yeah)
There were moments when it seemed okay (I go back alone)
Where do you go? Oh, where do you stay? (I go back alone)
There was a time when the music would play (Woah-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Oh, baby, every morning there are mountains to climb
Taking all my time
Oh, when I get up, this is what I see
Welcome to reality
Oh, baby, every morning there are mountains to climb
Taking all my time
Oh, when I get up, this is what I see
Welcome to reality
When we were young, we used to get so close to it
And you were scared and you were beautiful
I wanna peer over the edge and see in death
If we are always the same (oh, yeah)
There were moments when it seemed okay (But I go back alone)
Where do you go? Oh, where do you stay? (I go back alone)
Oh, baby, every morning there are mountains to climb
Taking all my time
Oh, when I get up, this is what I see
Welcome to reality
Oh, baby, every morning there are mountains to climb
Taking all my time
Oh, when I get up, this is what I see
Welcome to reality
(To reality)
Oh, baby, every
(To reality)
Oh, baby, every
(Give me a sign)
Oh, baby, every
(Give me a sign)
Oh, baby, every
(Give me a sign)
Oh, baby, every
Oh, baby, every
Oh, baby, every
Oh, baby, every

To sing :
Nibblin' on sponge cake
Watchin' the sun bake
All of you Parrotheads covered with oil
And feathers, and signs, and pins
Strummin' my six string on my front porch swing
Smell those shrimp, hey they're beginnin' to boil
Bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble
Wastin' away again in Margaritaville
Searchin' for my long lost shaker of salt
Salt, salt, salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
And I know this is somebody's fault
I don't know the reason
Stayed here all season
With nothing to show but that brand new tattoo
Hell yes, it hurts
But it's a real beauty
Oh, I think she might be a Nantucket cutie
Or maybe she's from the Vineyard
I haven't got a clue
Wastin' away again in Margaritaville
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt
Salt, salt, salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
I agree with that
And I know it's all you women's fault
Coming soon
Old men in tank tops
Cruisin' the gift shops
The lost verse
Checkin' out chiquitas down by the shore
I found 'em, I found 'em
They dream about weight loss, oh
Wish they could be their own boss
Those three day vacations become such a bore
I blew out my flip flop
Stepped on a pop top
I broke my leg twice, I had to limp on back home
But there's booze in the blender
And soon it will render
That frozen concoction that helps me hang on
Hang on, hang on, hang on
Wastin' away again in Margaritaville
That's where this ship is headed
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt
Salt, salt, salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
But I know it's my own damn fault
That's what the therapist said, hell
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
They're always in
And I know it's my own damn fault
Welcome home, everybody
Salt, salt, salt
Lucky we stayed
Thank you all very much
You sure make a, a boy from Mississippi
Feel right at home in Wisconsin
Thank you all
I love my job
Thank you
Thank you again, Parrotheads
Not only for tonight, but 30 years of doing this, uh
I just feel very lucky to be doing it
Here's a little song to send you on your way
Thank you again, everybody
We love you

To sing at home a bit of Flight of the conchords:

Inner city life, inner city pressure
The concrete world is starting to get ya
The city is alive, the city is expanding,
Living in the city can be demanding,
You've pawned everything, everything you own,
Your toothbrush, jar, and a camera phone
You don't know where you're going
You cross the street
You don't know why you did,
You walk back across the street.
Standing in the sitting room, totally skint
And your favorite jersey is covered in lint
You want to sit down, but you sold your chair
So you just stand there
You just stand there
You just stand there
Inner
Inner city
Inner city pressure
Inner city pressure
Counting coins on the counter of the 7-11,
From a quarter past six 'til a quarter to seven,
The manager Bevan starts to abuse me
Hey man, I just want some Muesli,
Neon signs, hidden messages,
Questions, answers, fetishes,
You know you're not in high finance,
Considering second hand underpants,
Check your mind, how'd it get so bad?
What happened to those other underpants you had,
Look in your pockets, haven't found a cent yet,
Landlords on your balls, have you paid your rent yet?
Inner
Inner city
Inner city pressure
Inner city pressure
So you think maybe you'll be a pr******te,
Just to pay for your lessons, you're learning the flute,
The ladies won't pay you very much for this,
Looks like you'll never be a concert flautist,
You don't measure up to the expectation
When you're unemployed there's no vacation
No one cares, no one sympathizes
You just stay home and play synthesizers.
Inner
