After a hard-working day, I can finally upload this and say happy teacher's day 🥰✨ feeling blissfully happy and thankful for having such amazing students who inspire me every day❤️

✨In our lessons, we always start talking using some idioms as icebreakers. Students love it and we have a lot of fun. The examples provided are usually related to the topic of the unit, it depends on what the students want to share ☺️


These are the idioms we discussed this week:

😤Hit the roof: suddenly become very angry.
"When she surprised him in bed with another woman, she hit the roof" 😡

🥜In a nutshell: in the fewest possible words.
"She put the matter in a nutshell"

🥫Spill the beans: reveal secret information.
"I cannot believe you spilled the beans about our party tomorrow - now I'll have invite John".

Some fun for this Monday 😜 don't forget to use a comma when you are addressing someone. You can save lives 😅

Tip ✨ Names that are being addressed directly are said to be in the "vocative case." When somebody is being spoken to directly, their name must be separated from the rest of the sentence with a comma 🤓
