VOLVER A + VERB = do something again, start over, return to doing something, get back to doing something.

Estoy feliz.
I'm happy.

Estaba en mi casa cuando llamaste.
I was at home when you called.

Estuve en la casa de Renata ayer.
I was at Renata's house yesterday.

Si estuviera en su casa ahora, hablaríamos mucho.
If I were at her house now, we would talk a lot.

Si hubiera estado en la fiesta, habríamos hablado.
If I had been at the party, we would have talked.

NEGATIVE SENTENCES IN SPANISH

🇪🇸 "No necesitamos nada, gracias".
🇬🇧 "We don't need anything, thank you".

🇪🇸 "No quiero a nadie en mi casa hoy".
🇬🇧 "I don't want anybody in my house today".

FAST, TALL, FUNNY/FUN -adjectives have gender in Spanish, depending on the noun they are describing. Usain is both a man (“un hombre”, masculine noun) and a person (“una persona”, feminine noun).

I hate to be a party pooper, but I am really tired.
Odio ser un AGUAFIESTAS, pero estoy muy cansado.

The corner was filled with spider webs.
