This very common expression can be used with the verb `hit´ or just use `rock´ as a verb.
Eg. The last thing he needed was Mary breaking up with him. That´s when he HIT ROCK BOTTOM/ROCKED BOTTOM´
🔴 To be beat (Estar agotado/a)
eg. I´ve been working extra hours for a month. I´M BEAT´
