The courses
Based on the communicative approach, the courses are cemented in activities that encourage students to communicate constantly. For this, we work with a foreign language method -designed as required by the Common European Framework of Reference for tongues- to the pair of authentic documents- films, songs, newspaper articles, magazines, books, among others. It’s important to underline
the joint work of the four language skills -reading and listening comprehension, writing and speaking- that allows you to approach the language from a global perspective, from which all its components are related and feed. In parallel, being immersed in an atmosphere where we speak only Spanish, the language integration take a more natural and effective way, always considering communication in real contexts.
“Che, boludo”, “Estoy sin un mango”, “Tomamos una birrita?”, “Te copàs, chabòn?”, “Te re banco en ésta!”... Y podemos seguir. The "lunfardo" -slang- has a separate chapter, as well as its charm. It is not enough to be able to repeat these sentences, it is also necessary that you know their origins and when to use them. BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED: all courses are taught in all levels. INTENSIVE COURSES: you arrive in Argentina and you have a little time to learn Spanish, because you have want to tour Latin America from end to end or because you want to be prepared to speak fluently without problem at the University during the exchange you are doing. We suggest a course tailored to your needs: you come from Monday to Friday at the Academia - 4 hours each day- in schedule that fits you more comfortable -you know that you can always combine schedules so you can leverage your time. If you come in the morning, we have breakfast together with some mates and some Argentinean specialties; if you do it in the afternoon, we have a typical argentinian tea! Remember that you can take advantage of the journey for take a walk around the city, before or after the course! These courses, like the others, are intended to work both individually and in small groups. Start: all year round

SEMI-INTENSIVE COURSES: you arrive in Argentina and you have a little time to learn Spanish, because you have want to tour Latin America from end to end or because you want to be prepared to speak fluently without problem at the University during the exchange you are doing. We suggest a course tailored to your needs: you come from Monday to Friday at the Academia - 2 hours each day- in schedule that fits you more comfortable -you know that you can always combine schedules so you can leverage your time. If you come in the morning, we have breakfast together with some mates and some Argentinean specialties; if you do it in the afternoon, we have a typical argentinean tea! Start : all year round
Hours: to choose. MONDAY to FRIDAY: 9-11 / 11-13 / 13-15 / 15-17 / 17-19 / 19-21
REGULAR COURSES: you arrive in Buenos Aires and you have only two weeks to learn Spanish, or better, a month. Or better yet, three months. So, two weeks, a month or whatever, we invite you to learn at the Academia. We met twice a week 3 hours, you chose the days. If you come in the morning, we have breakfast together with some mates and some Argentinian specialties; if you do it in the afternoon, we have a typical Argentinian tea! MONDAY to FRIDAY: 9-12 / 12-15 / 15-18 / 18-21
SATURDAY: 9-12 / 12-15
DAILY LANGUAGE IMMERSION: you arrive in Buenos Aires, you have to spend a couple of days here and you want to learn Spanish. Oh, and the clock is ticking! Do not despair! Our teachers are prepared for everything, even for a language immersion you acquire the necessary skills to communicate in everyday situations, while you’re traveling through Argentina and throughout South America. You come to the Academy at 9, we start the course, we invite breakfasted with some mates and some typical argentinean specialties; we take a pause at midday , we have lunch and we continue until 4 pm! These courses are designed to work both individually and in small groups. Start: all year round
Hours: to choose, MONDAY to SATURDAY 9-16
PRIVATE COURSES: you don’t talk Spanish a lot -or you’ve just begun- and you would like to deepen some issues of language, before traveling, start the University or communicate in everyday situations. Ok, we go to your house. Or, if you want, you can come to the Academia and since you’re there, you make a walk around the city. You decide the schedule; you only have to tell us a couple of days before and reserve your class! MONDAY to FRIDAY 9m-20 / SATURDAY 9-15
ONLINE: You started the course, you liked how you learned and want to continue studying but you have to leave. Do not worry, we also give classes via Skype: anytime, anywhere. In addition, you can choose to continue with your favorite teacher! MONDAY to FRIDAY 9-20 / SATURDAY 9-15
The School
Qué hacés, che? Academia de Comunicaciòn is located in a prime area: the north of Buenos Aires. A few kilometers from the big city, we offer not only the possibility to learn a language, but also to know one of the most natural parts of the province of Buenos Aires, so you can appreciate its potential and beauty, before or after class. We have a river along some small beaches very nice, bikes to do a walk along the coast, antiques fair, restaurants and bars so you go to drink, you meet people and see the sunset.
