It is with sadness we say goodbye to a great man.
Chico was a part of the school for 30 years, starting at LIS, moving to Colégio Português and E.S.C.O.L.A. when LIS moved.
He was often the first face teachers were greeted with when arriving in Luanda and his smiling face and friendly demeanour will be missed.
Condolence to his family as they mourn his passing and may his soul rest in peace.

Our 4th graders wrote poems to their mothers 💙
Some shy, some bold…
all from the heart.

🌍World Earth Day began 56 years ago, in 1970, to recognise that we can take steps to look after our world.
The theme this year is Our Power, Our Planet. The Grade 1s to 4s held a Recycled Fashion Show to highlight waste and the importance of healthy ecosystems.
We hope that they have a better understanding of pollution and how it affects our climate.
Let us all work together to keep our world clean and tidy by reducing waste and recycling or reusing where we can.
