Let’s look at the base word “to eat.”
Just like in English, the verb “eat” changes form depending on time and subject:
I eat
You eat
He eats
Ate • Eating • Eaten
Now, let’s look at the Portuguese verb “comer” (to eat) and how it changes ⬇️
We’ll break it down together in a simple way so you can understand and use it easily.
👉 I’ll drop an exercise in the comments—try it!
Let’s learn together 💛

What is the real rationale behind asking kindergarten children to count to 1,000?
Many of these children get to Primary One and have to relearn how to write numbers correctly. For example, when asked to write “one hundred and thirty-five,” a child writes “1035.” This is not carelessness; it is evidence of weak number understanding.
At the kindergarten stage, the utmost priority should be oral counting and place value, not the memorization of long number sequences. Children need to understand that numbers are made up of hundreds, tens, and ones/ units, not just sounds they repeat.
Giving a child daily homework to count from 600 to 700 is exhausting and adds little educational value.
We must teach children to know, not merely to memorize. When understanding comes first, accuracy and confidence will naturally follow.

I have a premonition of dark forces.
If you have a house help who is solely responsible for taking and bringing your child or children from school, please take security measures immediately:
1. Take a clear picture of them (not discreetly—let them know you’ve captured their image).
2. Always have the school’s contact information so you can be alerted when your child leaves the school premises.
3. Teach children 👧 aged five and above to be security conscious.
4. Stay spiritually alert ‼️ and awaken your spirit of discernment.
The times are perilous! May affliction never arise in our lives.🙏🙏
