The opening of Literacy Month at LCS went a little like this!🥳📖
Theme: “Readers are Leaders: Read Today, Lead Tomorrow!”

Students were reminded of the importance of literacy, listened to an interesting fable read by Tr. Young and had a mini parade for a photo op on the playground!

This week we continue to promote literacy with the National Day to D.E.A.R on September 8th.
We encourage you to Drop Everything And Read for just 15-20 minutes tomorrow and the rest of the week.

Stay tuned for all the upcoming activities for the remainder of the month as we continue to celebrate and promote literacy!💛

LCS School Leaving Exercise was held on Thursday, June 18, 2026. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of our graduating students under the inspiring theme, “Stepping Forward with Confidence and Determination.”

The graduates were encouraged and inspired by our guest speaker, Tr. Catherine Hodge, a former teacher of LCS, whose heartfelt message motivated the students as they prepare for the next chapter of their educational journey.

We are also proud to recognize Aisha Kretschmann as the Valedictorian for the Class of 2026. Congratulations to Aisha and to all of our graduates on this significant milestone. We wish them every success as they continue to step forward with confidence and determination.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are proud of your accomplishments and look forward to all that you will achieve in the future.

Our Awards & Appreciation Evening was held on Thursday, June 25, 2026. It was a wonderful occasion to recognize and celebrate our students and parents for their hard work, dedication, and achievements throughout the school year.

Our academic standards were set high. To receive an award, students were required to achieve 85% or higher in each educational area. We are incredibly proud of all the students who earned certificates and commend them for their commitment to excellence.

A sincere thank you to all the parents who attended and supported this special event. We were delighted with the excellent parent turnout and truly appreciate your continued partnership in celebrating our students’ success. Congratulations to all of our award recipients!
