Are you trusting religion instead of Jesus to get you to heaven? Many people try to rest their soul on good behavior, church attendance, religious tradition, or personal works—but the Bible teaches that salvation is found only in Jesus Christ.

In this Sunday evening message, Brother Jacques Richardson preaches on the topic: “Religion Cannot Take You to Heaven.” Using passages such as John 16:6, John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8–9, Titus 3:5, Matthew 7:21–23, Hebrews 9:22, 1 John 1:7, and Acts 4:12, this message shows the difference between outward religion and true salvation through Christ.

This message speaks to anyone asking:
Can being a good person save me? Does going to church mean I am ready for heaven? Can religious works remove sin? Why is Jesus the only way to the Father?

Religion can change habits, but only Jesus can change the heart. Good works cannot purchase salvation. Church attendance cannot guarantee heaven. Pride can hide behind religion, but Christ produces humility. Most importantly, only the blood of Jesus can cleanse sin.

Join us for this Sunday evening service from Good News Baptist Church, under the ministry of Pastor Roderick Webster, and share this message with someone who needs to be pointed away from empty religion and toward the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

What does God want to say to your heart today? Join us for this Sunday Morning message as Brother Elrik Martina opens the Word of God and points us to the truth we need for daily Christian living.

In this service from Good News Baptist Church, we gather around the preaching of the Bible with a desire to hear from the Lord, be strengthened in faith, and be helped in the real issues of life. Whether you are facing uncertainty, family pressure, spiritual discouragement, temptation, weariness, or the need for clearer direction, God’s Word is still able to guide the heart.

The exact message text will be shared during the service, but the heart of this gathering is simple: we need God’s truth more than our own opinions, and we need His grace more than our own strength.

Maybe you are asking:
“Lord, what are You trying to teach me?”
“How should I respond to this season of life?”
“Where do I need to obey You more fully?”
“Can Your Word still help me today?”

Join us as Brother Elrik Martina preaches during our Sunday Morning service. This ministry is shared as part of Words From The Word under the leadership of Pastor Roderick Webster.

Share this message with someone who needs encouragement from the Word of God today.

Join us for the final evening of our Mission Conference 2026 at Good News Baptist Church.

Our theme is:

Redeeming The Time

Theme Verse:
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:16, KJV

This Wednesday evening service is the final night of our Mission Conference. Throughout the conference, we have been challenged to see the urgency of the hour, the need of the mission field, and our responsibility to pray, give, go, and send the gospel while there is still time.

Our visiting preacher is Angelo Andrew from Dominica.

As the conference comes to a close, the burden must not end. The final question is not only, “Did we attend?” but, “How will we respond?”

May the Lord stir our hearts to surrender more fully, give more faithfully, pray more earnestly, and take our place in the work of missions.

Time is passing. Souls are waiting. The gospel must go.

What does God want to say to your heart tonight? Join us for our Sunday Evening Service as Deacon Tony Morris brings a message from the Word of God.

Even when we do not know the exact title or text ahead of time, we know this: God’s Word is always profitable. It can comfort the hurting, correct the wandering, strengthen the weary, and guide the believer who wants to walk faithfully with the Lord.

This evening service is an opportunity to pause, listen, worship, and let the Lord deal with your heart through Bible preaching. Whether you are carrying worry, facing family pressure, needing spiritual direction, battling discouragement, or simply wanting to end the Lord’s Day with your mind on the things of God, this service can be a help and blessing.

You may be asking:
What does God want me to hear tonight?
Is there an area of my life I need to surrender?
How can I grow stronger in my walk with Christ?
What step of obedience should I take next?

Share this service with someone who needs encouragement from God’s Word.

Am I making God’s will about me instead of surrendering to what God has clearly said?

In Jonah 1:1–3 (KJV), the word of the LORD came to Jonah with a clear command: “Arise, go to Nineveh.” But instead of obeying, Jonah rose up to flee from the presence of the LORD. His problem was not confusion. His problem was surrender.

In this Sunday morning message, Brother Elrik Martina preaches from the sermon titled “It Is All About You.” This message speaks to every heart that has ever struggled with God’s direction, delayed obedience, personal preference, fear, bitterness, or the discomfort of doing what God requires.

Maybe you know what God has been dealing with you about. Maybe there is a step of obedience you have avoided. Maybe God has placed a person, a responsibility, a ministry, or a calling before you, but your heart is still headed toward Tarshish.

This message will help you consider questions like:
What am I running from? Why is obedience so hard? Have I made God’s will about my comfort? What does my response to God reveal about me?

Share this message with someone who needs a loving but honest reminder that God’s will is always better than our way.

Is your life built to last when God tests every man’s work?

In this Sunday morning message, Pastor David Rollock preaches from 1 Corinthians 3:10–15 (KJV) on the theme: “Take Heed on How We Build.” The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the only true foundation, and every believer must take heed how he builds upon Him.

This message speaks to every Christian who is serving, laboring, leading, teaching, helping, giving, praying, or trying to live faithfully for the Lord. It reminds us that God is not only looking at how much we do, but what kind of work we are building.

Are we building with gold, silver, and precious stones — things that can endure the fire? Or are we building with wood, hay, and stubble — things that may look impressive now but will not last?

Pastor David Rollock will help us consider serious questions: Is Christ truly the foundation of my life? Am I faithful to the task God has given me? Will my service endure? Am I building something that others can build upon?

Does God still care enough to seek the lost? In Luke 15:1–10, Jesus shows us the heart of God toward sinners, wanderers, and those who may seem far away from Him.

This Sunday morning, guest speaker Pastor David Rollock of First Baptist Church, Anguilla will preach a message titled “Seeking the Lost” during our anniversary service. As the Pharisees murmured because Jesus received sinners, the Lord answered with two powerful pictures: a shepherd seeking one lost sheep and a woman searching carefully for one lost piece of silver.

In this message, we are reminded that lost people are not forgotten by God. They are valuable. They are worth seeking. And when one sinner repents, heaven rejoices.

This message will speak to anyone praying for an unsaved loved one, burdened over a wandering family member, carrying guilt over past sin, or wondering whether God still welcomes sinners. It also challenges believers to ask: Do I care about lost souls the way Jesus does? Am I willing to seek the one? Do I rejoice when sinners come home?

Join us for this Sunday morning anniversary service as Pastor Roderick Webster, Words From The Word, and Good News Baptist Church welcome Pastor David Rollock for this timely message.

Share this with someone who needs to know that Jesus still receives sinners.
