We are pleased to share that Yerevan State University has officially launched the piloting phase of the revised study programs developed within the T4GREEN project.

The piloted programs have been redesigned in close collaboration with EU partners, integrating:
🌱 Green transition priorities
💻 Digital transformation approaches
🎓 Future-oriented teaching and learning methodologies

This important step allows us to test the updated curricula in real teaching environments, gather feedback from students and academic staff, and further refine the programs ahead of their full implementation.

🌱 Within the T4GREEN project, the piloting of revised study programmes has been ongoing for the past two months across universities in Armenia and Moldova.

At the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education of Armenian State Pedagogical Unviersity, green and digital transition is transforming how future teachers learn — making education more innovative, inclusive, and future-oriented.

• Integration of digital tools in everyday teaching

On 23 February, we held a productive coordination meeting with all project partners to review progress and agree on the next implementation steps.

During the meeting, partners discussed:

🔹 Submission and synchronization of the revised Training Kit materials
🔹 Ongoing piloting of the revised study programs at partner universities
🔹 Upcoming EU partner visits for piloting activities
🔹 Organization of national dissemination conferences
🔹 Preparation for the Final Conference
🔹 Progress related to the National Concept for Teacher Education

The piloting phase has already successfully started in several partner universities, marking an important milestone in the project’s implementation.

📌 The university introduced updated programs in:
✅ English Language and Literature (Bachelor)
✅ Special Education (Master)
✅ Geography (Master)

💡 The sessions provided an opportunity to present the revised curricula and gather valuable feedback from faculty members. These discussions mark an important step towards ensuring that regional higher education institutions play an active role in shaping future-ready teacher-training programs.

🌍 As part of our joint efforts to modernize teacher education and align it with the green and digital transition, our project partner universities in Moldova have successfully launched in-house training sessions with their academic staff.

📌 Ion Creangă Pedagogical State University introduced updated programs in:
✅ Special Psychopedagogy
✅ English Language and Multicultural Education
✅ Integrated Approach to Learning Contents on the STEAM Model

📌 Alecu Russo State University of Bălți presented revised programs in:
✅ English and Spanish
✅ Mathematics and Informatics
✅ Management of Inclusive Education

💡 These sessions provided an opportunity to present the updated curricula and collect valuable feedback from faculty members. The discussions mark an important step towards integrating sustainability, inclusivity, and digital innovation into teacher education in Moldova.

We have launched a series of in-house training sessions at partner universities in Armenia and Moldova aiming to present the revised teacher education programs and collect feedback from faculty and staff.
From September 21–25, 2025, a series of in-house trainings were held at the Armenian State Pedagogical University with the academic staff of:
✅ Faculty of Foreign Languages
✅ Chair of Informatics and its Teaching Methodology
✅ Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education

The sessions focused on presenting the revised teacher education programs and gathering valuable feedback from faculty members.

These discussions are an important step towards integrating green and digital competencies into teacher education and piloting the revised programs.

📯📯📯 From June 16–19, the University of Valladolid (Spain) hosted a vibrant training week.

Over 40 participants from Armenia, Moldova, Czech Republic, and Portugal came together to exchange expertise, build capacity, and shape the future of teacher education. The training was hosted by the Faculty of Education and Social Work and was launched with inspiring remarks from Susana Álvarez (Vice-Rector for Educational Innovation and Digital Transformation) and Ruth Pinedo González (Director of VirtUVa Center).

🌍 The delegation from Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), which coordinates the project, was led by Vice-Rector Marianna Harutyunyan, who emphasized the strategic importance of education reforms in the region.

📚 The training focused on:

✅Reviewing academic programs in STEM, foreign languages, and special education.

✅Sharing practical approaches to digital and green transformation.

✅Exploring best practices in teacher education at the Segovia Campus.

✅Evaluating project outcomes and planning next activities

Under the leadership and guidance of our EU partners, Armenian and Moldovan universities are actively working to benchmark, revise, and modernize initial teacher education programs at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and short credit levels for green and digital transition.

This collaborative effort is rooted in feedback and expertise from EU institutions in line with European standards and best practices.
