Ինչո՞ւ ոչ մի դեպքում չարժի բաց թողնել այս կինոդիտումը։ Բացատրում է կինոռեժիսոր, Թումոյի միջոցառումների համակարգող Արթուր Սուքիասյանը.

«Մեզնից ոչ ոք, հավանաբար, շանս չի ունենա խաղալու Սանտյագո Բեռնաբեու մարզադաշտում, բայց այս ֆիլմի միջոցով յուրաքանչյուրս կարող է մի ամբողջ խաղ տեսնել ու զգալ պատմության լավագույն ֆուտբոլիստներից մեկի՝ Զինեդին Զիդանի աչքերով»։

Այս ամիս, ինչպես ամբողջ աշխարհի, այնպես էլ Թումո կինոուրբաթի ուշադրության կենտրոնում ֆուտբոլն է։ Դիտելու ենք ժամանակակից արվեստի նշանավոր գործիչներ Դուգլաս Գորդոնի և Ֆիլիպ Պարենոյի «Զիդան. 21-րդ դարի դիմանկար» ֆիլմը (2006) լեգենդար Զիզուի մասին։ Ֆորմալ առումով վավերագրական, իսկ իրականում՝ կինոյի ու վիդեո-արտի միջակայքում գտնվող աշխատանքը երկու խաղակեսի ընթացքում 17 տեսախցիկով հետևում է այդ հակասական և խարիզմատիկ մարզիկին Ռեալ Մադրիդ - Վիլյառեալ հանդիպման ժամանակ։

Why is this a screening you absolutely cannot miss? Film director and TUMO Events Coordinator Arthur Sukiasyan explains:

“None of us will probably ever get the chance to play at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, but through this film, each of us can experience an entire match through the eyes of one of the greatest footballers in history, Zinedine Zidane.”

This month, football is at the center of attention not only worldwide, but also at TUMO’s Film Friday. We will be screening Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait (2006) by the renowned contemporary artists Douglas Gordon and Philippe Parreno, capturing the legendary Zizou. Formally a documentary, it is, in reality, a work sitting at the intersection of cinema and video art. The film uses 17 cameras to follow this controversial and charismatic athlete across two halves of a Real Madrid vs. Villarreal match.

Following the screening at TUMO Yerevan, we will host a discussion featuring Eduard Kalantaryan, sports commentator and president of the "Sport Media" Armenian Association of Sports Journalists, Robert Markosyan, co-founder and president of the official Real Madrid Fan Club in Armenia, and Gor Matinyan, goalkeeper for the Armenian National Team. The discussion will be moderated by Arthur Sukiasyan and TUMO Sport Coordinator Yervand Ismailyan.

– Ողջո՛ւյն, Վիոլե՛տ ջան։ Կպատմե՞ս ոնց անցավ Դիլիջանի աշխատարանը, որ պոստում գրենք։

– Տարօրինակ բաներ կատարվեցին. վլոգեր վիշապի ու թանաքե տերմինատորի արտասանած բառերը ամպիկներ էին դառնում, Խզբզիկը վազում էր ու խզբզում, հայկական հարսանիքի գնացած արհեստական բանականությունը սկսեց կենացներ ասել, իսկ Շուշտիկի ու Չպչպուկի չարաճճիություններին գումարվեցին ալերգիկ արձանների արկածները… Վա’յ, չէ, ողջը իրար խառնվեց։

Միակ հստակ բանն այն է, որ ուսանողները գրում էին ժամանակակից հեքիաթներ՝ ստեղծելով գերբնական արարածներ ու կախարդական աշխարհներ՝ լի վառվռուն երևակայությամբ ու չարաճճի հումորով։

– Hey Violet, can you tell us about the learning lab in Dilijan so we can post about it?

– Some weird things happened… Words spoken by a vlogging dragon and an ink terminator turned into clouds, Khzbzik was running around doodling everywhere, an AI that went to an Armenian wedding started giving toasts, and the adventures of allergic statues got mixed up with the mischief of Shushtik and Chpchpuk… Oh wait, no, everything got totally jumbled up!

The only thing I can say for sure is that the students wrote modern fairy tales, creating supernatural creatures and magical worlds full of vivid imagination and mischievous humor.

Շնորհակալ ենք մեզ այցելելու համար, հատկապես այս ծանրաբեռնված քննաշրջանում։ Ուրախ էինք ձեզ տեսնել Թումոյում և հույս ունենք շարունակել այս կարևոր երկխոսությունը։

Yesterday at TUMO, our CEO, Marie Lou Papazian, shared this message during her meeting with school principals from the Ajapnyak and Davtashen districts. Papazian introduced TUMO’s unique pedagogy and the ways in which its offerings can complement the school curriculum. A lively conversion ensued, during which they discussed the visionary aspects of formal and non-formal education, the TUMO impact assessment issued by Dalberg in 2023, and student engagement in today’s world.
