👩‍⚕️Today marks the birthday of Anahit Aznauryan, Deputy Head of the Department for Foreign Students and Associate Professor at the Department of Histology.

🌺We warmly congratulate her on behalf of her colleagues, as well as Armenian and international students, appreciating her dedication and high professional standards.

✨We wish her good health, boundless energy, joyful moments, and continued professional success.

📊The series of lectures on the topic of “Tropical Diseases” intended for international students was concluded. During the lectures the participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in this field and get acquainted with modern medical approaches.
✍️The lectures are based on the FMGE (Foreign Medical General Examination), for Indian future doctors.
According to Anahit Aznauryan, Deputy Head of the International Students’ Academic Affairs Department; at first the course was introduced only for Indian students, but gradually students from other countries began to show interest. “They applied to the Dean’s office to ask to include them in the program, since tropical diseases also concern Sri Lanka, Jordan, Syria, Iran, and Iraq. The program develops students’ clinical thinking, teaches how to apply theoretical knowledge in the clinic,” she noted.
🗂️The lectures last 10 days: 2.5 hours per day, and are held at the "Muratsan" and "Mikayelyan" University hospitals.
Students with outstanding achievements actively participated in the educational program, and were awarded relevant graduation certificates at the end of the course. Among the participants, Indian citizen Prashansa Garg and Iranian citizen Lilit Gevorgyan stood out, who showed high interest, active involvement and responsible attitude towards the educational process.
📌Since October of the 2019-2020 academic year, the Career Development Center of YSMU, together with the Department of Infectious Diseases and the International Students’ Academic Affairs Department, has introduced a 40-hour program of additional lectures entitled "Tropical Diseases" in English. The lectures are held by the teaching staff of the Department of Infectious Diseases, headed by Associate Professor Vigen Asoyan, the Head of the Department.

🎉World Hindi Day was celebrated at the Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi.
📌The participants were greeted first in Armenian and then in Hindi by Her Excellency Nilakshi Saha Sinha, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia.
🗣️A Hindi proficiency competition was held as part of the day.
👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️Indian future doctors of different courses, including the outstanding 6th-year student Prashansa Garg and the 5th-year student Raj Batra, also made impressive speeches.
🎶Armenian children added to the festive atmosphere with musical and dance performances in Hindi.
📙The event was attended by Yervand Sahakyan, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and External Relations of the Medical University, and Gayane Avetisyan, Head of the Department of Foreigners’ Education.

✨It’s the birthday of Mary Mkhitaryan, Deputy Head of International Students’ Academic Affairs Department of Yerevan State Medical University, Researcher at the Neuroscience Laboratory of the "COBRAIN" Center, Public Health Specialist, Lecturer at the Department of Normal Anatomy.

Երևանի Մխիթար Հերացու անվան պետական բժշկական համալսարանն իր խորին ցավակցությունն է հայտնում Հնդկաստանի բարեկամ ժողովրդին, բժշկական բուհում սովորող հնդիկ ուսանողներին անդառնալի կորստի կապակցությամբ։ Մեր աջակցությունն ենք հայտնում հնդիկ ապագա բժիշկներին և նրանց ընտանիքներին այս դժվարին իրավիճակում:

We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic crash of a passenger plane at Ahmedabad airport.
Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi expresses its deepest condolences to the friendly people of India and the Indian students studying at the medical university on the irreparable loss. We express our support to the Indian future doctors and their families in this difficult situation.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Ադիտյա Դվիվեդին և Շիլպա Ռանան շուրջ 20 տարի առաջ միմյանց հանդիպեցին Երևանի Մխիթար Հերացու անվան պետական բժշկական համալսարանում։ Այսօր նրանք արդեն ընտանիքով են Երևանում՝ 9-ամյա Աայաանի և 5-ամյա Աահանայի ուղեկցությամբ։ Հնդիկ շրջանավարտների հետ է նաև նրանց համակուրսեցին և մոտ ընկերուհին՝ Աջիտա Բհուսլեն։
✍️2009 թվականին բուհն ավարտելուց ի վեր նրանք մշտական կապի մեջ են եղել, պարբերաբար քննարկել Հայաստան գալու միտքը «Առաքելություն դեպի Հայաստան» կոչվող ընդհանուր խմբում։
🩺Ադիտյա Դվիվեդին բժշկական համալսարանն ավարտելուց հետո վերադարձավ Հնդկաստան, մի քանի տարբեր հիվանդանոցներում աշխատելուց հետո այժմ գործունեություն է ծավալում Հնդկաստանի բանակում՝ որպես բժիշկ։ Վերջին 3-4 ամսվա ընթացքում Լիբանանում ՄԱԿ-ի հետ համագործակցության ծրագրով աշխատում է կազմակերպության խաղաղապահ ուժերում։
📚Կինը՝ Շիլպա Ռանան, ևս սովորել է Ընդհանուր բժշկության ֆակուլտետում, չնայաժ՝ այժմ զբաղվում է երեխաներով, չի աշխատում, բայց պլանավորում է մասնագիտությանը համապատասխան աշխատանք գտնել հետագայում։
📌Աջիտա Բհուսլեն Մումբայում աշխատում է որպես ընդհանուր թերապիայի բժիշկ, կլինիկական սրտաբան և գինեկոլոգ։
