Armenia at the Crossroads of East and West:
Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapists in Dialogue

Armenia, March 29, 2026

The conference, led by the President of the World Association for Positive Psychotherapy, Dr. Hamid Peseschkian, took place — and it was truly meaningful ❤️

The symbol of the conference was Mount Aragats — a metaphor for wholeness, diversity, and inner balance.

Participants from multiple countries — Armenia, Romania, Argentina, Georgia, Bulgaria, Germany, Russia — came together, creating a truly international professional space.

Deep meetings, lively dialogues, professional and human connection.

I thank everyone for their openness, interest, and the atmosphere we created together.
Thank you to each person who was part of this event.

Mount Aragats — as a symbol of balance and the journey toward harmony with oneself and the world — is now with us 🤍

Our thanks to you: 🇩🇪 Danke • 🇷🇺 Спасибо вам • 🇬🇪 მადლობა • 🇷🇴 Mulțumesc • 🇵🇹 Obrigado • 🇦🇲 Շնորհակալություն • 🇧🇬 Благодаря

In this event, Dr. Dalal will explore how modern psychotherapy has been shaped not only by science, but by power, ideology, and institutional politics. This lecture reveals what lies behind the dominance of — and questions what we call “evidence-based.”

🔹 How did CBT become the leading therapy model?
