📯 ԵՊՀ սիրելի՛ շրջանավարտներ,

📌 Երևանի պետական համալսարանը նախորդ տարի կազմակերպեց Շրջանավարտների առաջին մեծ ֆորումը՝ ստեղծելով բաց հարթակ տարբեր տարիների շրջանավարտների միջև հաղորդակցության, գաղափարների փոխանակման և համագործակցության համար։ Երկօրյա այս միջոցառումը միավորեց փորձառու մասնագետների, երիտասարդ շրջանավարտների և գործընկերների՝ քննարկելու կրթության, հասարակության, տնտեսության, մշակույթի և ապագայի զարգացման առանցքային հարցեր։

✅ Այս տարի ևս ԵՊՀ-ն նախատեսում է կազմակերպել ֆորում՝ նվիրված ԵՊՀ շրջանավարտների համայնքին։ Մեզ համար կարևոր է, որ սպասվող միջոցառումը ձևավորվի հենց ձեր հետաքրքրությունների և սպասելիքների հիման վրա։

🔶 Հարցմանը մասնակցելը կտևի ընդամենը 5- 7 րոպե։

🔶 Շնորհակալ ենք ձեր ժամանակի, վստահության և ԵՊՀ շրջանավարտների համայնքի զարգացմանն ուղղված պատրաստակամության համար։

📍Դեկտեմբերի 11–ից 12-ը ԵՊՀ Եվրոպական ուսումնասիրությունների կենտրոնը «Ժան Մոնե» գերազանցության կենտրոն. ժողովրդավարություն, մարդու իրավունքներ և անվտանգություն (DeHuRiS) ծրագրի շրջանակում Կոնրադ Ադենաուեր հիմնադրամի հետ համատեղ իրականացրեց «Եվրոպական միության հիմունքները ԵՄ– Հայաստան համագործակցության համատեքստում» վերապատրաստման ծրագիրը քաղաքացիական ծառայողների համար։

Երկօրյա դասընթացի շրջանակում քննարկվեցին Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական միության գործընկերության վերաբերյալ հիմնահարցերը, ինչպես նաև ռազմավարական նշանակություն ունեցող Համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրի (ՀԸԳՀ/CEPA) իրավական ու ինստիտուցիոնալ շրջանակը։

Դասընթացի կարևոր թեմաներից էին նաև արդարադատության, մարդու իրավունքների, կառավարման ու տնտեսական զարգացման ոլորտներում իրականացվող բարեփոխումները՝ որպես Արևելյան գործընկերության շրջանակում Հայաստանի ստանձնած պարտավորությունների մաս։ Ներկայացվեցին պետական կառավարման համակարգում առավել արդյունավետ օգտագործվող որոշումների կայացման մեխանիզմները և արտաքին գործողությունների քաղաքականությունը՝ կողմերի միջև համագործակցությունը խորացնելու և պարտավորությունների իրագործումն առավել արդյունավետ դարձնելու համար։

Դասընթացին մասնակցեցին պետական 17 մարմնի աշխատակից։ 2026 թվականին նախատեսվում է շարունակել ԵՄ- Հայաստան համագործակցության հիմնախնդիրներին նվիրված նմանատիպ միջոցառումները։

On November 25, the Centre for European Studies at the Yerevan State University (CES) had the pleasure of welcoming Laura Milne, Country Director of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute Armenia, as a guest lecturer in the MA Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation.

With over 15 years of international experience across Jordan, Myanmar, Vietnam, India, and beyond, Laura brought an exceptional blend of field knowledge, strategic insight, and real-world advocacy practice to our Public Advocacy and Fact-Finding course.

Her lecture — “There Are No Human Rights: How Defenders Make Them Real” — encouraged students to rethink the meaning and practice of human rights in today’s complex environments. Drawing on her work in access to justice, labour rights, anti-trafficking, and rule of law reform, Laura offered a powerful overview of the human rights ecosystem, highlighting the interplay between formal mechanisms and informal advocacy, and the importance of networks, storytelling, and community-driven change.

We are grateful for the inspiration, the practical tools she shared, and for reminding our students that human rights become real only through action, courage, and collective engagement.

On September 16-17, the Yerevan State University Center for European Studies hosted the master’s thesis defenses of students enrolled in the “Human Rights and Democratization” master’s program for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Across two days, students presented their research on key topics including European integration, foreign policy, regional cooperation, and human rights protection. Their work provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in promoting democratic institutions and safeguarding human rights both locally and regionally. 🎓📝

The theses were evaluated by a professional committee, which highlighted the scientific and practical significance of the students’ research. At the conclusion of the defenses, committee members praised the students’ efforts, emphasizing the strong theoretical foundations and thoughtful practical analyses reflected in their work.🏆

On September 15, the YSU Centre for European Studies hosted Verónica Gómez, President of the Global Campus of Human Rights, who delivered a guest lecture entitled “The Human Rights in the Americas.”

In her lecture, Verónica Gómez presented the historical background of human rights protection in the Americas, from the colonial era and the devastating impact of slavery to the development of international legal frameworks. She highlighted the importance of the 1948 Bogotá Conference and the American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man, which became the foundation of the Inter-American human rights system.
Special focus was placed on the role of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in addressing violations, preventing abuses, and ensuring protection.

At the conclusion of the lecture, Gómez raised key questions: Can legal mechanisms effectively overcome structural inequalities? Does persistent inequality undermine the legitimacy of democracy?

🤝This event provided YSU students with an exceptional opportunity to deepen their understanding of human rights and engage with globally significant issues together with an international expert.
