As part of the Event Management section in the Operations Management course, students of the Graduate Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management (GCTHM) program had the opportunity to gain hands-on industry knowledge from AUA alumna Diana Zakaryan — Event & Product Manager at Seven Visions Resort & Places, The Dvin.

With over eight years of experience in PR, marketing, and event management, Diana shared real-world insights on planning, coordination, and operational excellence within large-scale hospitality events. Her session bridged theory and practice, inspiring students to approach event operations with creativity, precision, and professionalism.

As part of the media tour organized by the Economic Journalists’ Club with support from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, a panel was held on June 20 focused on Armenian–Georgian cultural relations.

Moderated by the Program Director of AUA’s Graduate Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Zara Zeitountsian, the panel emphasized how culture, tourism, and politics are deeply interconnected in shaping public perception and regional cooperation.

Speakers from Armenia and Georgia explored how journalism, education, and cultural institutions can move us from outdated narratives toward a more collaborative and respectful regional identity.
