✅ The Regional Awareness Day 2 of the Erasmus+ DeSIRe Project Was Held at Batumi State University
On 21–22 July 2026, Batumi S***a Rustaveli State University hosted the second Regional Awareness Day of the Erasmus+ DeSIRe Project — Regional Awareness Day 2 (RAD2).
The event was organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building in Higher Education project, “Development of Soft Skills at Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia in Compliance with the 21st Century Labour Market Requirements.”
The aim of RAD2 was to present the activities implemented and the results achieved within the project to a wider audience, to highlight the importance of developing soft skills in higher education, and to strengthen cooperation among universities, the public sector, employers, students, and the project’s international partners.
The event brought together representatives of partner institutions from Armenia, Georgia, Spain, Ireland, Germany, and Finland, as well as academic and administrative staff of the University, students, researchers, and representatives of the public and private sectors and the project’s associated partners.
During the two-day event, participants were introduced to the soft skills modules developed within the DeSIRe Project, teaching and training materials, the results of training sessions conducted for students and staff, experiences gained from the piloting of the modules, and the feedback received.
Particular attention was given to the development of Soft Skills Labs at universities, as well as to the discussion of their business plans and future roadmaps. Participants discussed how soft skills education could be more closely aligned with students’ real needs, employers’ expectations, and the priorities of the region’s economic and social development.
The results of the pilot teaching activities implemented at Batumi S***a Rustaveli State University were also presented during the meeting. The speakers shared their experiences regarding student engagement, the use of teaching materials, the integration of local examples, and the recommendations identified for the further improvement of the modules and their effective incorporation into academic programmes.
A student panel was also held within the framework of RAD2. Students discussed the soft skills they had developed through their studies, participation in projects, and teamwork. The discussion addressed the skills required for youth employment, employers’ expectations, the role of universities in students’ professional preparation, and the challenges graduates face when entering the labour market.
Participants paid particular attention to communication, teamwork, leadership, critical and creative thinking, time management, negotiation, and conflict management skills. It was emphasised that the development of these competences increases the competitiveness of students and graduates and contributes to their successful professional and personal development.
The second day of the event was dedicated to a coordination meeting of the project partners, the review of completed activities, the discussion of future plans, and the further strengthening of cooperation among the partner institutions.
Alongside the official and working sessions, the event also contributed to strengthening professional and cultural relations among the participants. A visit to Petra Fortress was organised for the international guests, providing the partners with an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss prospects for future cooperation in an informal setting.
The activities implemented within the Erasmus+ DeSIRe Project contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning at higher education institutions in Georgia and Armenia, integrating soft skills into academic programmes, and better preparing students for the modern, changing, and competitive labour market.
Together with its project partners, Batumi S***a Rustaveli State University will continue its activities aimed at developing soft skills, sharing international experience, and strengthening cooperation among the University, students, employers, and regional partners.

✅ ბათუმის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში Erasmus+ DeSIRe პროექტის რეგიონული ცნობიერების ამაღლების ღონისძიება 2 გაიმართა
2026 წლის 21–22 ივლისს ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტმა Erasmus+ DeSIRe პროექტის მეორე რეგიონულ ცნობიერების ამაღლების ღონისძიებას Regional Awareness Day 2 (RAD2) უმასპინძლა.
ღონისძიება განხორციელდა Erasmus+ KA2 შესაძლებლობების განვითარების პროექტის „სომხეთისა და საქართველოს უმაღლეს საგანმანათლებლო დაწესებულებებში რბილი უნარების განვითარება XXI საუკუნის შრომის ბაზრის მოთხოვნებთან შესაბამისობაში“ ფარგლებში.
RAD2-ის მიზანი იყო პროექტის ფარგლებში განხორციელებული საქმიანობისა და მიღწეული შედეგების ფართო საზოგადოებისთვის გაცნობა, უმაღლეს განათლებაში რბილი უნარების განვითარების მნიშვნელობის წარმოჩენა, უნივერსიტეტებს, საჯარო სექტორს, დამსაქმებლებს, სტუდენტებსა და პროექტის საერთაშორისო პარტნიორებს შორის თანამშრომლობის გაძლიერება.
ღონისძიებაში მონაწილეობდნენ პროექტის პარტნიორი დაწესებულებების წარმომადგენლები სომხეთიდან, საქართველოდან, ესპანეთიდან, ირლანდიიდან, გერმანიიდან და ფინეთიდან, ასევე უნივერსიტეტის აკადემიური და ადმინისტრაციული პერსონალი, სტუდენტები, მკვლევრები, საჯარო და კერძო სექტორისა და პროექტის ასოცირებული პარტნიორების წარმომადგენლები.
ორდღიანი ღონისძიების ფარგლებში წარმოდგენილი იყო DeSIRe პროექტის ფარგლებში შემუშავებული რბილი უნარების მოდულები, სასწავლო და სატრენინგო მასალები, სტუდენტებისა და პერსონალისთვის ჩატარებული ტრენინგების შედეგები, მოდულების საპილოტე განხორციელების გამოცდილება და მიღებული უკუკავშირი.
განსაკუთრებული ყურადღება დაეთმო უნივერსიტეტებში რბილი უნარების ლაბორატორიების განვითარებას, მათი საქმიანობის ბიზნესგეგმისა და სამომავლო საგზაო რუკის განხილვას. მონაწილეებმა იმსჯელეს, თუ როგორ შეიძლება რბილი უნარების სწავლება უფრო მეტად იყოს დაკავშირებული სტუდენტების რეალურ საჭიროებებთან, დამსაქმებელთა მოლოდინებთან და რეგიონის ეკონომიკური და სოციალური განვითარების პრიორიტეტებთან.
შეხვედრაზე წარმოდგენილი იყო ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში განხორციელებული საპილოტე სწავლების შედეგებიც. მომხსენებლებმა ისაუბრეს მიღებულ გამოცდილებაზე, სტუდენტთა ჩართულობაზე, სასწავლო მასალების გამოყენებაზე, ადგილობრივი მაგალითების ინტეგრირებასა და იმ რეკომენდაციებზე, რომლებიც მოდულების შემდგომი გაუმჯობესებისა და სასწავლო პროგრამებში ეფექტიანად დანერგვისთვის გამოიკვეთა.
RAD2-ის ფარგლებში გაიმართა სტუდენტური პანელიც, რომელშიც სტუდენტებმა ისაუბრეს იმ რბილ უნარებზე, რომლებიც მათ სწავლის, პროექტებში მონაწილეობისა და გუნდური მუშაობის პროცესში განივითარეს. განხილული იყო ახალგაზრდების დასაქმებისათვის მნიშვნელოვანი უნარები, დამსაქმებელთა მოლოდინები, უნივერსიტეტის როლი სტუდენტების პროფესიულ მომზადებაში და ის გამოწვევები, რომლებსაც კურსდამთავრებულები შრომის ბაზარზე შესვლისას აწყდებიან.
დისკუსიის მონაწილეებმა განსაკუთრებული ყურადღება დაუთმეს კომუნიკაციის, გუნდური მუშაობის, ლიდერობის, კრიტიკული და შემოქმედებითი აზროვნების, დროის მართვის, მოლაპარაკებისა და კონფლიქტების მართვის უნარებს. აღინიშნა, რომ აღნიშნული კომპეტენციების განვითარება ზრდის სტუდენტებისა და კურსდამთავრებულების კონკურენტუნარიანობას და ხელს უწყობს მათ წარმატებულ პროფესიულ და პიროვნულ განვითარებას.
ღონისძიების მეორე დღე დაეთმო პროექტის პარტნიორთა საკორდინაციო შეხვედრას, შესრულებული სამუშაოების შეჯამებას, სამომავლო გეგმების განხილვასა და პარტნიორ ინსტიტუტებს შორის თანამშრომლობის შემდგომ გაძლიერებას.
ოფიციალური და სამუშაო შეხვედრების პარალელურად, ღონისძიება მონაწილეებს შორის პროფესიული და კულტურული ურთიერთობების გაღრმავებასაც ემსახურებოდა. საერთაშორისო სტუმრებისთვის მოეწყო პეტრას ციხის მონახულება, რამაც პარტნიორებს გამოცდილების გაზიარებისა და სამომავლო თანამშრომლობის შესაძლებლობების არაფორმალურ გარემოში განხილვის საშუალება მისცა.
Erasmus+ DeSIRe პროექტის ფარგლებში განხორციელებული საქმიანობა ხელს უწყობს საქართველოსა და სომხეთის უმაღლეს საგანმანათლებლო დაწესებულებებში სწავლებისა და სწავლის ხარისხის გაუმჯობესებას, რბილი უნარების საგანმანათლებლო პროგრამებში ინტეგრირებას და სტუდენტების თანამედროვე, ცვალებად და კონკურენტულ შრომის ბაზართან უკეთ მომზადებას.
ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტი პროექტის პარტნიორებთან ერთად მომავალშიც გააგრძელებს რბილი უნარების განვითარების, საერთაშორისო გამოცდილების გაზიარებისა და უნივერსიტეტს, სტუდენტებს, დამსაქმებლებსა და რეგიონულ პარტნიორებს შორის თანამშრომლობის გაძლიერებისკენ მიმართულ საქმიანობას.
