đŸŒ± EU4Food Safety Study Visit to Sweden and Denmark.

From 30 August – 3 September 2026, within the EU4Food Safety Technical Project, GIZ Albania, IPGR had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and explore European best practices in plant genetic resources, genebank management, seed testing and certification, plant health, and sustainable agriculture.

During the tour, we visited leading institutions including SLU, the Swedish National Gene Bank, NordGen, and Tystofte Foundation, with valuable insights into certification systems, documentation, and digitalization.

DitĂ« Fushore nĂ« BazĂ«n Eksperimentale tĂ« IRGJB-sĂ«, UBT đŸŒ±

Në Bazën Eksperimentale të Institutit të Resurseve Gjenetike të Bimëve (IRGJB), pranë Universiteti Bujqësor i Tiranës - Faqja Zyrtare u organizua një Ditë Fushore në bashkëpunim me Entin Shtetëror të Farave dhe Fidanëve Eshff Tiranë

Në aktivitetet mori pjesë Drejtoresha e Drejtorisë së Politikave të Shëndetit të Bimëve, Farërave, Fidanëve dhe Plehrave në Ministrinë e Bujqësisë, Departmenti i Shkencave Agronomike, UBT, si dhe përfaqësues të subjekte private që veprojnë në sektorin bujqësor.

Gjatë aktivitetit u prezantuan rezultatet e eksperimenteve kërkimore të IRGJB-së në fushën e rigjenerimit, vlerësimit dhe karakterizimit të resurseve gjenetike bimore.

Gjithashtu, u paraqitën rezultatet e pjesshme të testimit të dhjetë varieteteve të patates të realizuar nga ESHFF, me qëllim identifikimin e varieteteve më të përshtatshme në zonën e Tiranës, për kuktivim komercial, përpunim industrial dhe konsum të freskët për t'u regjistruar në Katalogun Kombëtar të Varieteteve.

These reviews foster continuous improvement, ensuring that genebanks uphold high operational standards and contribute to a robust, accessible European Collection of plant genetic resources.

Gjatë praktikës profesionale studentët u njohën me pemët frutore dhe karakteristikat e tyre morfologjike dhe agronomike. Praktika u fokusua në eksplorimin e resurseve gjenetike, identifikimin dhe dokumentimin e varieteteve lokale.
