Hapen regjistrimet për edicionin e fundit të Modulit të Çertifikuar “Performanca Politike dhe Ekonomike e Vendeve Kandidate të Ballkanit Perëndimor ndaj Kritereve të Anëtarësimit në BE”.

Ky modul ofrohet nga Instituti i Studimeve Evropiane - Faqja Zyrtare në kuadër të Projektit Jean Monnet Module “PerformEU”, me mbështetjen e Komisionit Europian.

Leksionet ofrojnë një qasje gjithëpërfshirëse mbi politikat e zgjerimit dhe kushtëzimit të BE-së, duke analizuar progresin dhe sfidat e vendeve kandidate të BP në raport me dy kriteret e Kopenhagenit (politik dhe ekonomik).

Programi do të kombinojë teori dhe analizë praktike, duke ofruar njohuri të thelluara mbi përpjekjet e vendeve të rajonit për përmirësimin e demokracisë dhe zhvillimin ekonomik përmes reformave të qëndrueshme.

On 15 December 2025, Instituti i Studimeve Evropiane - Faqja Zyrtare successfully hosted the student conference “Momentum of EU Integration”, organized within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module Perform-EU, bringing together students for a vibrant academic exchange.

Across four thematic panels, students explored key topics such as EU conditionality, reform performance, democratic governance, enlargement dynamics, and future integration scenarios for the Western Balkans, showcasing strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary perspectives.

Congratulations to all student presenters for their excellent contributions and to everyone involved in making this conference an engaging and meaningful platform for dialogue and learning.

Our Summer School 2025 brought together an impressive number of participants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, united by their shared interest in the future of the Western Balkans and the European Union.

Over the course of five days, participants engaged in stimulating debates and interactive sessions on growth, reforms, geopolitics, governance, and the future outlook of EU integration.

This success was made possible by the dedication of our coordinators, Dr. Elena Polo and Prof. Assoc. Doris Malaj, and the inspiring contributions of our guest lecturers, Dr. Borana Mustafaraj and Dr. Ines Stasa, who brought fresh perspectives, enriched the debates, and left a lasting impact on all participants.

The enthusiasm, curiosity, and active engagement of participants once again reaffirm the importance of creating open platforms where students, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners can exchange ideas and perspectives on Europe’s future.

We thank everyone who joined us and look forward to continuing this journey of learning and dialogue in the framework of PerformEU.

Last week, we were honored to host Prof. Igor Todorović from the University of Banja Luka for an insightful online lecture on the topic:
“Bridging Gaps: ESG Challenges and Opportunities for Western Balkans in Meeting EU Criteria.”

This lecture was organized as part of the Jean Monnet Module PerformEU, implemented by the Institute of European Studies at the University of Tirana.

Prof. Todorović shared a timely and thought-provoking analysis of the current landscape of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices in the Western Balkans, emphasizing their growing relevance in the EU accession process.

His lecture addressed: the role of ESG standards in aligning with the European Green Deal; structural and regulatory gaps facing candidate countries in the region; opportunities for regional cooperation and policy innovation and the strategic importance of ESG alignment for sustainable development and investment readiness.

Gjatë javëve të fundit, në kuadër të modulit "PerformEU", studentët kanë marrë pjesë në leksione dinamike dhe diskutime thelbësore mbi ecurinë e vendeve të Ballkanit Perëndimor – me fokus të veçantë Shqipërinë – në përmbushjen e politikave të kushtezimit.

Krahas analizës së treguesve ekonomikë dhe politikë nga raporte kombëtare e ndërkombëtare, vëmendje e veçantë i është kushtuar reformave kyçe që ndikojnë drejtpërdrejt në progresin e Shqipërise drejt anëtarësimit në BE.

Pjesëmarrësit patën mundësinë të thellojnë njohuritë dhe të angazhohen në diskutime interesante për temat që do të pasojnë.

Më 19 dhjetor 2014, në ambientet e Instituti i Studimeve Evropiane - Faqja Zyrtare, u zhvillua një leksion i hapur me zonjën Megi Fino, zv.ministre në Ministrinë për Evropën dhe Punët e Jashtme, dhe negociatore e kapitullit 31.

Ky leksion ishte pjesë e modulit Jean Monnet - PerformEU, mbështetur nga Komisioni Evropian, dhe trajtoi një nga shtyllat kryesore të tematikave : adaptimin e legjislacionit vendas me acquis-in e BE-së.

Gjatë leksionit, zonja Fino ofroi një pasqyrë të ecurisë së Shqipërisë në procesin e negociatave për cluster 6 dhe theksoi çështje praktike të procesit të anëtarësimit. U diskutuan gjithashtu sfidat e mbetura dhe vështirësitë që duhen kapërcyer për të arritur përparim të qëndrueshëm në këtë proces.
