Today your child learned some more adjectives (hot, cold, fast, slow, new, old, high, low) and the phrase "It's not..., it's...." We talked about antonyms today. For practice you can continue to ask your children questions about things around the house or on tv. For example, "Is it hot?" Bringing the English out of the classroom and into everyday life will help your child remember.

On Thursday your children practiced some adjectives (big, small, heavy, light, green, red, a fruit, an animal) and the question "Is it..." you can practice this question for things in your home. You can also ask questions using the other colors. Your children are excellent at comprehending and answering yes or no questions!

Hi Parents, On Tuesday your children learned the question "How many...do you have?" They were also introduced to some nouns (brothers, sisters, potatoes, pens, friends, points, toys, hats) It would help your child a lot to practice the question using things in your house, then count with them.

Hi Parents, on Tuesday we practiced the question "Where are you going?" and some places (school, mountains, beach, sea, pool,shops, home). While you are walking with your child you can ask them the question. This will be a great practice for them. You can also ask them the question while they are walking around in the house. They can answer with of the rooms of the house. (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living-room)

For a practice you can draw a Under the Sea picture with your child and ask them "What can you see?" Today your children were introduced to two new songs we will sing for Childrens' Day. In the songs are the words (apple, orange, sun, tree, sky, fun, hide, play). These are new words for you children so they need some practice. You can quiz your child by saying... "What is (molle) in English?" "What is (portokalli) in English?"...

This week your children practiced the rooms in a house (bedroom,bathroom, kitchen, living-room) and some common house-hold things (clock, bed, pillow, picture,mirror, wardrobe). They also practiced asking and answering the questions "Where is...(a person's name)?" and "What is this?" It would be good to ask your children where the people in your family are throughout the day.

Hi Parents, Your kids have been doing a great job learning lately. Last week they practiced the prepositions of place (in,on,under,by,behind, in front of) and some vocabulary words (shell, rock, star, donkey, rabbit, box, hat, table). They also practiced asking and answering the question "Where is the...?" It would be good to ask this question using things in your house.

On Tuesday we learned the question "Where are you from?" on Thursday we learned "Do you speak..?". Over the weekend you can ask your child these questions about other people. "Does he/she speak Albanian,French, Italian, Spanish?" you can also have your child ask people these questions.
