Senad Arifi will be a speaker at the Education Today 2026 Conference with the topic: “Why Do We Teach The Way We Do”.
Senad Arifi is an educator, career counselor, and researcher with over eight years of experience in teaching and educational leadership. He is an English Language Teacher and Career Counselor at the International School of Prishtina and a PhD candidate in
Sociolinguistics. He has also presented at regional and international conferences and is passionate about integrating digital tools and podcast-based learning into education.

Nuray Donmez is an experienced Physics educator with over 20 years of experience in international education across Albania, Kosovo, and Turkey. She holds a B.S. in Physics from Koç University and currently teaches Cambridge IGCSE Physics while supporting students in
their academic development and university preparation.
She has 4 years of experience in college counseling, working closely with students on university applications, subject selection, and personal development planning. In her counseling role, she also guides students through international admission requirements and helps them explore suitable academic pathways.
Her professional interests include student-centered learning, the development of critical thinking skills, and encouraging future-ready competencies. She aims to support students in becoming independent learners who can make informed academic and career decisions.

Dr. Halit Vural is a Computer Engineer and AI researcher with a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and over 15 years of experience in higher education and artificial intelligence. He has taught and led engineering programs at international universities and has worked as an AI Engineer on industry projects involving machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models.
Dr. Vural is passionate about helping educators understand and effectively integrate AI into teaching and learning through practical, ethical, and innovative approaches.

Erjona Saqe is an elementary teacher and Academic Coordinator for the Elementary Cycle at Turgut Ozal College in Tirana, Albania. With more than 25 years of experience in primary education, she has been dedicated to supporting students’ learning and teachers’ professional development through effective teaching practices, curriculum planning, and collaborative school initiatives.
During her professional journey, she has served as Head of the Elementary Department and has been actively involved in mentoring teachers, developing educational projects, and promoting innovative approaches to learning. Her work focuses on creating meaningful learning experiences for students and contributing to a positive and supportive school environment.
Erjona holds a Bachelor’s degree from Luigj Gurakuqi University and a Master’s degree in Education from Aleksander Xhuvani University. She has completed the School of Directors program, participated in professional development activities organized by the British Council and the Council of Europe, and is a certified Trainer of Trainers in Critical Thinking by the Centre for Educational Development (CDE).
She continues to explore and promote innovative teaching methodologies, interdisciplinary learning, and approaches that support both students and educators in their continuous growth.

Brenardo Nuredini serves as Vice Principal at Turgut Ozal High School, combining over a decade of secondary biology teaching with a rich background in academic leadership and teacher mentoring.
As an active teacher trainer and keynote speaker, he specializes in modern active learning methodologies, including learner autonomy, STEM, and the CLIL framework. He holds a Master’s in Biology from the University of Tirana, leadership certifications from Harvard’s CSML program and CSL Albania, and is a Cambridge TKT and Google Certified Educator.

“Inside the Hidden Cycle of Our Classrooms: What RISON Theory Reveals About
Education”.
Bora Kërtusha is an Albanian author and independent researcher, founder of the RISON
Research Lab. She is the creator of RISON Theory (Reflected Inferiority in Social Attack and
Narrative), the first original Albanian psychological theory, supported by empirical studies
conducted in Albania and Kosovo (N=200).
Her work is archived on Zenodo, SSRN, and PhilArchive, and explores how hidden feelings
of inferiority shape social attack, narrative, and behavior. She is also the author of the literary
trilogy Trilogjia e Etjeve.

Anita Lawrynowicz is a British QTS-qualified teacher, School Psychologist, Inclusion Lead and Deputy Safeguarding Lead with over 16 years of experience across British and international schools. She specialises in supporting students with SEND, SEMH, autism,
anxiety, and emotional regulation needs, combining educational, psychological, and therapeutic approaches.
Currently serving as Whole School Pastoral & Wellbeing Lead at World Academy of Tirana, Anita has developed the school’s PSHE Curriculum, Inclusion Policy, and practical frameworks for behaviour, safeguarding, and student support. She regularly delivers professional development and conference presentations on inclusion, wellbeing, safeguarding, and innovative approaches to student support.
