Happy Birthday, Maria Montessori

Born August 31, 1870 — she taught the world to see children not as vessels to fill, but as human beings to honor. “Follow the child,” she said, and in following, we learned that children raised with freedom, respect, and love grow into capable, curious, independent people.

Her legacy lives on in every child who learns by doing.
